The Mint Law Firm is a somewhat new law firm with a new approach and we are currently seeking a paralegal with at least 5 years&rsquo; experience exclusive to family law to assist with document drafting and case management in a 100% remote capacity.How is our approach different?<ul><li>You set the max number of hours per week that you can devote to the firm;</li><li>You will not be prohibited from other employment so long as no conflict or solicitation exists;</li><li>You will work on your own time schedule; and</li><li>You can work 100% from the comfort of your own home.</li></ul>Duties will include:<ul><li>Document Drafting: Motions practice and preparation of and review of FL family law pleadings and forms;</li><li>Client interaction: Getting the documents and data that we need is essential.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum 5 years&rsquo; experience in family law;</li><li>Clean disciplinary record;</li><li>Strong knowledge of family law;</li><li>Upbeat and friendly personality</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;</li><li>Some availability during normal business hours (M-F 9-5) for virtual client meetings;</li><li>Attention to detail and strong organizational skills;</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Teams;</li></ul>Pay:<ul><li>Pay is per diem and will range anywhere from $35per hour to $45 per hour, dependent upon experience, credentials, and hours per week/month available;</li><li>Malpractice insurance is paid for by the firm;</li><li>Eligible for productivity-based bonuses once certain hours are met;</li><li>Eligible for technology reimbursement once certain hours are met; and</li></ul>About Us:<ul><li>We are a new but growing firm</li><li>There are three partners in the law firm, two of which spent many years in large law firms and two of which have significant business and marketing experience;</li><li>The firm has a physical office in Lakeland, FL and serves the greater Lakeland area.</li><li>We&rsquo;re a positive and fun group of people and want to bring back the joy of practicing law in a laid-back and rewarding setting;</li><li>We have a very good and multifaceted marketing plan of action that has generated great results;</li><li>We know how to both listen and take advice, meaning all teammates are an integral part of the operation;</li><li>We are serious, well credentialed attorneys with proven track records of operating and successfully growing law firms and businesses alike;</li><li>We are all 15 year plus practitioners.</li></ul>Who Is This Job Best Suited For?<ul><li>Someone who is looking to grow into the role.
