Hexcel is currently seeking a Purchasing Agent I for our Kent, WA, USA location.</div><div></div><div>
Summary pay range: $68,439 - 117,323 annual salary.</div><div></div><div>
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:</div><ul><li>
Conduct supplier surveillance and audits.</li><li>
Lead and conduct source surveys, rate readiness reviews, procurement review boards, offsite program reviews and off-site resolution of supplier problems. Provide inputs into make/buy determinations, source selections and supplier qualifications.</li><li>
Troubleshoot supplier problems and issue resolution.</li><li>
Maintain thorough and organized Purchase Order files.</li><li>
Procure major and critical production commodities and materials. Lead negotiations of terms and pricing. Develop requests for purchase quotation.</li><li>
Establish long-term supply subcontracts to support organization.</li><li>
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production planning.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and other regulatory requirements.</li><li>
Proficiently utilize the MRP system for efficient procurement processes.</li><li>
Maintain clear and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders and suppliers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues.</li></ul><div><br>
Qualifications:</div><ul><li>
High School Diploma required. Associates Degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>
Experience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Operating instructions may be provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to write routine reports and correspondence.</li><li>
Proficiency in MS Office.</li><li>
Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.</li><li>
Experience calculating figures and amounts using basic algebra and geometry such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.</li><li>
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to maintain positive team and supplier relationships.</li></ul><div></div><div>

Hexcel is currently seeking a Material Planner for our Kent, WA, USA location. You will be responsible for all activities related to the master production plan (MPP) as pertains to the site. This includes production planning according to planned capacity and the planned procurement and inventory of all production materials.</div><div></div><div>
Summary pay range: $50,042 - $85,786 annual salary (non-exempt).</div><div></div><div>
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:</div><ul><li>
Responsible for determining and operationally managing interplant demand requirements</li><li>
Coordinate with other departments to: assist and manage aged orders, support customer requirements, assist with capacity and manpower planning and act as liaison between Purchasing and Manufacturing, plan and schedule work orders for production. Manage configuration changes through change board</li><li>
Attend and/or lead program status meetings and develop program metrics for both management and customer review</li><li>
Ensures the plan is developed within the existing system (AX2012) and acts upon exceptions and alerts as required; also ensuring the validity and robustness of the fixed planning window on an ongoing basis.</li><li>
Participates in weekly and periodical scheduling meetings, resolves issues and follows actions arising from meetings such as re-prioritization and expediting of supply of critical products e.g. Quality issues.</li><li>
Ensures Master Data updates and parameters are maintained correctly in BOM&rsquo;s in a timely manner and with adherence to procedures and processes. At a minimum, annually reviews all process yields and updates all master data accordingly.</li><li>
Responsible for delivering supply plans without interruption due to material shortages.</li><li>
Works with Procurement to ensure that all Production Materials are being received in appropriate order quantities and frequencies.</li><li>
Follows the inventory policies/ strategy set by the Materials Control Manager and the US Supply Chain Manager. Works closely with internal stakeholders to review Projected Inventory on medium to long term basis and resulting Storage Requirements (Cold Chain and Ambient). Provides periodic analysis of Monthly and Yearly inventory projections.</li></ul><div><br>
Qualifications:</div><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>
Minimum 3 years&rsquo; experience working in a manufacturing environment</li><li>
Knowledge, understanding, and previous experience using MRP/ERP systems and principles, preferably Microsoft Dynamics/AX</li><li>
Previous scheduling background preferred</li><li>
Experience using Microsoft Office required, high proficiency preferred</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of data management systems required</li><li>
Must be an effective communicator with people at all levels of the organization</li><li>
Must be driven, enthusiastic, and self-motivated</li></ul><div></div><div>
