We are seeking an experienced Pastry Consultant to support the development, improvement, and standardization of our pastry and dessert offerings. The consultant will work closely with management and kitchen teams to enhance product quality, cost efficiency, and presentation in line with our brand standards.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and refine pastry and dessert recipes</li><li>Improve existing menu items and introduce new concepts</li><li>Standardize recipes, portioning, and production methods</li><li>Train and guide kitchen staff on pastry techniques and best practices</li><li>Support cost control, sourcing, and ingredient optimization</li><li>Ensure high standards of quality, consistency, and food safety</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef &amp; Consultant</li><li>Strong knowledge of bakery and pastry production</li><li>Experience in menu development and kitchen training</li><li>Ability to work independently and provide clear guidance</li><li>Prior experience in caf&eacute;s, restaurants, or hospitality brands is preferred</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:Supporting the Procurement Department by performing a range of tasks to supplier management, order placement, and inventory management. Responsible in maintaining accurate record and invoices of all procurement related activities.Responsibilities and Obligations:Main Duties:<ul><li>Assisting in the development of purchase orders and sending them to suppliers</li><li>Monitoring and tracking supplier deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods or services</li><li>Maintaining accurate records of all procurement-related activities</li><li>Communicating with suppliers regarding pricing, product availability, and delivery schedules</li><li>Helping to research potential suppliers and compare their products, prices, and services</li><li>Working with the inventory team to maintain appropriate stock levels</li><li>Assisting with the resolution of invoice discrepancies and disputes</li><li>Helping to ensure compliance with all company procurement policies and procedures</li><li>Preparing and maintaining purchasing reports for review by management.</li><li>Process purchasing orders.</li><li>Ensure that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.</li><li>Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets.</li><li>Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.</li><li>Working with the purchasing manager to run the purchasing department.</li><li>Signing and reviewing purchasing agreements with vendors, monitoring their performance and renegotiating contracts.</li><li>Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.</li><li>Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition</li></ul>Qualifications:1. Previous Purchasing Assistant experience required;2. Knowledge of market research;3. Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and relevant computer applications;4. University/College degree in a related discipline an asset;5. Excellent communication and organizational skills;6. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities;7. Highly responsible &amp; reliable;8. Ability to work cohesively as part of a team;9. Ability to focus, remaining calm and courteous at all timesJob Type: Full-time
