We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team! We are an energetic dental office with a passion for excellent customer service and patient care. Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Welcome patients to the dental office.
</li><li>Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort.
</li><li>Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed.
</li><li>Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
</li></ul><ul><li>Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
</li><li>Undertake lab tasks as instructed.
</li><li>Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
</li><li>Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked.
</li><li>Schedule appointments.
</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures. 
</li></ul>Requirements (Education, Certifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
<ul><li>Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.
</li><li>Current Dental Assistant certification if required by state of employment.
</li><li>Working knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology.
</li><li>Current radiography certification if required by state of employment.
</li></ul><ul><li>Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR- BLS).
</li><li>Understanding of health &amp; safety regulations.
</li><li>Strong teamwork and people skills.
</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication.
</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 
</li></ul>Preferred
<ul><li>1+ years of experience in a dental setting.
</li><li>Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia preferred if required by state, or ability to become certified.
</li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
</li></ul><ul><li>Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g., EFDA).
