With class sizes ranging from 5 to 10 students, we offer a nurturing and focused learning environment where educators can make a real impact.Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dynamic High School History Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. The ideal candidate will be capable of teaching a wide range of history and social science courses&mdash;including US History, AP World History, AP US History, and AP Government. This role is perfect for an educator who thrives in a small school setting and is enthusiastic about getting involved in student life.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Teach multiple history and social science courses at the high school level</li><li>Prepare and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards</li><li>Provide personalized attention to students in small class settings</li><li>Assess student progress through regular feedback, grading, and communication</li><li>Serve as the ASB (Associated Student Body) Advisor and support student government initiatives</li><li>Help organize and supervise extracurricular clubs and school activities</li><li>Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and parent-teacher conferences</li><li>Maintain a positive and professional classroom environment</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in History, Education, or a related field (Master&rsquo;s preferred)</li><li>Valid teaching credential or equivalent teaching experience</li><li>Experience teaching Advanced Placement (AP) courses preferred</li><li>Strong classroom management and communication skills</li><li>Ability and willingness to support student activities beyond classroom instruction</li><li>A passion for history and commitment to student development</li></ul>Preferred Traits:<ul><li>Flexible and team-oriented</li><li>Creative and enthusiastic</li><li>Ability to implement tech into the classroom.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li></ul>Schedule &amp; Compensation: This is a part-time teaching position.
