Immediate Supervisor Title: Manager of Human Resources Administration
General Summary:
The Training &amp; Benefits Specialist manages day-to-day operations of organizational
training and employee benefits. This role plans, delivers, and tracks training across all
departments; administers benefits (including open enrollment and new-hire onboarding);
supports compliance audits; and partners with leaders to advance employee engagement
Requirements:

Essential Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Create training schedules for all company departments, track and create</li></ul>
reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the
company.<ul><li>Train new hires on company policies and procedures and use the best</li></ul>
training methods for a specific purpose or audience.<ul><li>Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on</li></ul>
previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional
training.<ul><li>Attend seminars and meetings to learn new training methods and</li></ul>
techniques and use the knowledge to prepare and coordinate future
training sessions.<ul><li>Recruit and train new departmental trainers, delegate training tasks to the</li></ul>
new trainers and evaluate performance.<ul><li>Work with electronic medical record software managers to ensure full</li></ul>
understanding of current EMR and dental software.<ul><li>Inform manager/superiors of company training opportunities for</li></ul>
employees and provide information on benefits to encourage participation.<ul><li>Inform employees on scheduled training and track their progress.</li><li>Recommend training materials and methods, order and maintain in-house</li></ul>
training equipment and facilities and manage the budget set for training.<ul><li>Search for gaps in training content and materials that need updating to</li></ul>
generate higher productivity and safety among staff.<ul><li>Research new training supplies and materials that can enhance the</li></ul>
organization and training procedures while providing value to employees.<ul><li>Identify future training needs and creating a curriculum to facilitate that</li></ul>
training<ul><li>Lead programs to assist employees with transitions due to technological</li></ul>
changes, acquisitions and mergers.<ul><li>Communicate with management, trainers and team members to ensure</li></ul>
that all needs are met.<ul><li>Set up executive or leadership development programs for lower-level</li></ul>
employees.<ul><li>Conduct orientation programs and arrange on-the-job training for new</li></ul>
hires.<ul><li>Resolve any specific problems and tailoring training programs as</li></ul>
necessary.<ul><li>Ability to translate complex problems and concepts in training.</li><li>Requirements for maintaining licensure and credentialing for all</li></ul>
licensed/credentialed employees.<ul><li>Strong leadership and communication skills.</li><li>Travel to all sites.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Education: Experience: Associates Degree in Business, or related fields such
as Organizational Development, plus two or more years&rsquo; experience in an
executive assistant, training assistant, project coordinator role, HR, etc.</div>
