Location: Tavares, FL (must be able to commute) Pay: $14.00 &ndash; $15.00 per hour (DOE)Job Summary: We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals with prior smoke shop experience to join our team. You&rsquo;ll be responsible for opening/closing the shop, helping customers, and keeping the store running smoothly while maintaining high standards of customer service and product knowledge.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Open, operate, and close store according to schedule.</li><li>Process customer sales, credits, exchanges, and refunds accurately.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by assisting with product selection, upselling, and answering questions.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of smoke shop products, including:</li><li>Disposable vapes, vape mods, coils, and e-liquids</li><li>Glass pieces (pipes, water pipes, rigs, accessories)</li><li>Hookah, shisha, and charcoal</li><li>Tobacco wraps, grabba leaf, cones, cigarillos, etc.</li><li>Kratom, CBD, and Delta products</li><li>Ensure ID checks are strictly followed for all age-restricted products.</li><li>Sort, stock, and display products in a clean, organized, and eye-catching way.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels; alert management when stock needs to be replenished.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and order in store (sales floor, counters, back room, and bathroom).</li><li>Follow procedures to meet or exceed weekly sales and store quotas.</li><li>Prevent loss by monitoring suspicious activity and adhering to store security protocols.</li><li>Train or assist in training new employees when needed.</li><li>Handle vendor deliveries and restock items properly.</li><li>Accurately complete daily cash reports and balance registers.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>1&ndash;3 years smoke shop experience Preferred (knowledge of products is a must).</li><li>Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>Strong customer service and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently.</li><li>Natural leadership ability and teamwork mindset.</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.</li><li>Basic math and POS system skills</li><li>Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand on feet for extended periods.</li></ul>Job Types:<ul><li>Full-time</li><li>Part-time</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Growth opportunities (Shift Lead / Manager potential)</li></ul>Shifts Available:<ul><li>6-hour shift</li><li>8-hour shift</li><li>Morning shift</li><li>Evening shift</li><li>Weekend availability required</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hourExpected hours: 24 &ndash; 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
