HLG is seeking a Senior Associate to join our team in Philadelphia or New York City. This role is ideal for a communications professional with 2-4 years of experience in an agency, consulting, or client services environment and is comfortable managing projects, drafting client deliverables, and coordinating work across teams.</div><div></div><div><br>
The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting client engagements across communications strategy, stakeholder engagement initiatives, and content development. This is a client-facing role requiring strong writing skills, excellent organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects while working both independently and collaboratively.</div><div></div><p><b><br>
Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Manage day-to-day execution of client workstreams, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and meet HLG&rsquo;s quality standards.</li><li>
Draft and edit client deliverables including strategy decks, briefing materials, stakeholder communications, reports, and other written content; strong writing skills and attention to detail are a must.</li><li>
Develop first-round drafts of presentations, memos, and written materials for internal and client review, translate high-level direction into concrete changes and improvements.</li><li>
Support client needs through organized and efficient project management, strong interpersonal skills and clear, confident communication.</li><li>
Coordinate project timelines and deliverables while managing multiple concurrent projects.</li><li>
Assist with planning and execution of client meetings, roundtables, and workshops, including agenda development, logistics coordination, and follow-up summaries.</li><li>
Contribute to the development of thought leadership content and communications materials.</li><li>
Support podcast or digital content production, including guest coordination, background research, and draft materials.</li><li>
Conduct research and synthesize complex information into clear, concise materials for clients.</li><li>
Communicate proactively with internal teams to ensure alignment across projects and priorities.</li></ul><p><b>
Experience and Attributes</b></p><ul><li>
2-4 years of professional experience in communications, consulting, public affairs, agency, or client-service environments.</li><li>
Experience working in client-facing roles and managing deliverables in fast-paced environments.</li><li>
Strong writing and editing skills with experience producing presentations, reports, and communications material, podcast or video production skills are a plus.</li><li>
Demonstrated project management skills, including managing timelines and coordinating across teams.</li><li>
Experience organizing or supporting events such as workshops, roundtables, or stakeholder meetings is a plus.</li><li>
Research skills and ability to synthesize complex information for diverse audiences.</li><li>
Interest in or familiarity with healthcare, life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical sectors is preferred but not required.</li><li>
Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, working knowledge of major AI platforms.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required.</li></ul><div></div><div><br>

High Lantern Group provides a competitive salary range for our open requisitions. Actual salary is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, experience, training, education, and other business and organizational needs. The range of starting annual salary for this role is $</i><i>70</i><i>,000</i><i> - $</i><i>8</i><i>0</i><i>,000. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.</i></p><p><i>
In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for performance-based incentives and a competitive benefits package.</i></p><p><i>
