Position Details<ul><li>
Employment Type: Full-Time</li><li>
Location: On-site in Conroe, TX (at Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport)</li><li>
Travel: This role may occasionally travel with leadership as needed (conferences, events, business meetings); company covers all trip costs (flights, hotels, meals)</li></ul>
What You'll Do
As our Content Manager, you'll take full ownership of planning, filming, editing, and publishing video content across all platforms. This is a hands-on role with a focus on growing our audience and showcasing the aviation industry. You'll work directly with leadership to create compelling long-form YouTube videos and daily short-form content for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>
Content Planning: Research topics, craft hooks and outlines, manage the content calendar</li><li>
Production: Film and direct video shoots, capture B-roll, coordinate with talent</li><li>
Post-Production: Edit long-form videos (8-15 min) and shorts (15-60s) with strong pacing and storytelling</li><li>
Publishing: Create titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and end screens; post natively on all platforms</li><li>
Performance: Monitor analytics, iterate based on data, and drive continuous improvement</li><li>
Team Management: Manage contractors as needed (thumbnail designers, captioners)</li><li>
Asset Management: Build and maintain searchable footage libraries, templates, and brand resources</li></ul>
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements<ul><li>
Portfolio with long-form and short-form videos you fully owned</li><li>
Strong editing skills with excellent pacing, captions, and storytelling instincts</li><li>
YouTube expertise (titles, thumbnails, retention tactics, analytics)</li><li>
Proficiency with Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro</li><li>
Experience with collaboration tools (Frame.io, Dropbox, or similar)</li><li>
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently</li><li>
On-site availability in Conroe, TX with flexibility for travel</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
After Effects or motion graphics experience</li><li>
Audio production and mixing skills</li><li>
Drone and gimbal operation</li><li>
Experience with Descript, CapCut, or similar tools</li><li>
Interest in aviation and entrepreneurship</li></ul>
