</div><div><div><div>Under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, Inpatient Pharmacy Technician Supervisor, and/or Director of Pharmacy, independently performs a variety of technical and clerical duties in the inpatient pharmacy. Responsible to maintain confidential reports, enter and retrieve data utilizing a variety of computer systems, prepare intravenous medication, including but not limited to, replenish automated medication dispensing cabinets, procure and fill requests for pharmaceutical supplies and deliver supplies to nursing units. Covering 4 weeks of overnights a year (after being trained and having adequate skills in IV).<br>
<b>Salary Range:</b><br>
$19.06- $25.72 an hour<br>

See 2-4 patients in each half-day care session in the community (generally patient&rsquo;s own home but may be in other private dwelling including comfort care home or a family member/caregiver&rsquo;s home). 2 sessions per week depending upon need.</li></ul></div></div><br>

Office Practice
<ul><li>See 4-8 patients in each half-day care session. 6 &ndash; 4 hour half day sessions per week depending upon need.</li><li>
These sessions are generally at GAMA</li><li>
1-2 half day sessions may be done from home via telemedicine dependent on clinical availability, personal preference, and insurance guidelines for telemedicine coverage</li></ul></div></div><br>

Office Practice (Non-Face to Face Time)<ul><li>
Assist office nursing and secretarial staff in phone management and triage of patients.</li><li>
In basket management of provider&rsquo;s personal in basket and those of any other provider who is unavailable
</li><li>Complete clinical documentation, forms/paperwork requested by patients, prior authorization appeals, sign home care orders</li><li>
Coordinate with other providers, home care and hospice teams, and pharmacies</li><li>
Assist in development of practice, community outreach, educational materials, ect&hellip;. Duties may include presentations
</li><li>Maintain professional credentials to allow for uninterrupted billing and clinical activity.</li></ul></div></div><div><br>

Provide inpatient palliative care coverage as needed for vacations, holidays, and any prolonged leaves

 Highland Hospital a 261 bed community teaching hospital and affiliate of the University Of Rochester Medical Center is recruiting for Patient Care Techs to work full time, rotating day/eve/night shifts. Qualified candidates must be available full time 36-40 hours per week to rotate during all shifts, Monday-Friday plus every other weekend and 50% of the holidays. No experience needed and you receive paid training! Must be able to commit to 5 weeks of orientation and able to work any shift and any day.  The Patient Care Technician (PCT) will support and provide direct patient care on the nursing unit. The PCT plays an integral role in the physical and emotional comfort of patients and their families. The PCT provides direct patient care and completes other tasks to support patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
