<div>Position Summary
Successful Manufacturing Process Design Engineers enjoy the challenges of working in a small engineering team environment to develop and implement creative new technologies for fabrication of outdoor products that enable next generation products for the company. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following<ul><li>
HDPE Fabrication &ndash; Improve processes related to machining, drilling, bending, joining of HDPE Lumber.</li><li>
Develop new fabrication technologies that enable the next generation of products for the company</li><li>
Identify, explore, and develop new manufacturing methods in support of market and product development activities. Processes will include a diverse array of technologies, including welding, cutting, finishing, and automated assembly</li><li>
Use CAD (AutoCAD/Inventor), tooling, and fixtures to demonstrate the new technology</li><li>
Build prototypes of all new designs, and test these for efficacy</li><li>
Effectively lead projects, ensuring the right technical resources are utilized and projects are completed in an agreed upon timeframe</li><li>
Provide training on equipment/processes as needed to technicians and manufacturing personnel</li><li>
Provide engineering support to production team for existing processes</li></ul> 
Essential Functions<ul><li>
Demonstrate ability to creatively design equipment, fixtures, and manufacturing processes</li><li>
Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD/Inventor</li><li>
Excellent analytical skills &mdash; proficient at turning data into information and knowledge</li><li>
Effective communication, both verbally and in writing, to affect decision making and keep the organization informed</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work at all levels of the organization</li><li>
and influence strategy and decisions</li><li>
Establish clear priorities and enthusiasm about delivering accurate and timely results</li><li>
Must possess a &ldquo;Get it done&rdquo; attitude</li><li>
Able to work autonomously once given a task and be self-directed</li><li>
Committed to making positive changes but remaining flexible and able to adapt to company growth and evolving responsibilities</li><li>

Interested in company results and committed to working safely</li><li>
Understanding of LEAN tools and continuous improvement of culture</li><li>
Proficient MS Office Suite skills and keyboarding skills</li></ul>

Education and/or Experience<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in mechanical or engineering</li><li>
Minimum 5 years of industry experience with designing processes and building equipment.</li><li>
Minimum 2 years of experience with machining, fastening, bending HDPE Material.</li></ul>
