<div>The Plant Maintenance II will repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, Allen Bradley electronics, and various production machines/equipment.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Assist in and able to diagnose, repair, and maintain production lines and associated assigned systems.</li><li>
Perform scheduled maintenance on assigned equipment.</li><li>
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical circuitry malfunctions.</li><li>
Basic knowledge of Arc welding and/or Heliarc welding.</li><li>
Basic knowledge of PLC diagnoses and repair.</li><li>
Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems including valves and pumps.</li><li>
Shall be responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.</li><li>
Basic knowledge to read diagrams, blueprints and schematics.</li><li>
Performs minor repairs to building and equipment.</li><li>
Performs minor plumbing repairs (ex: lavatory repair).</li><li>
Performs minor electrical repairs (ex: light fixture and ballast replacement).</li><li>
Completes required checklists and records for building maintenance.</li><li>
May obtain estimates for supplies, and repair parts; orders parts as needed.</li><li>
May assist with preventative maintenance on all equipment as needed.</li><li>
Learn and adhere to safety and security policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE at all times.</li><li>
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.</li><li>
Responsible for adhering to food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer, and SQF requirements.</li><li>
Must follow company GMP&rsquo;s, SOP&rsquo;s, and SSOP&rsquo;s at all times.</li></ul> 
Qualifications and Experience:<ul><li>
English is the primary language skill; however, bilingual skills may be beneficial based on business necessity.</li><li>
Ability to climb ladders and to work with chemicals and cleaning products.</li><li>
Mechanics provide basic mechanical tools required to perform duties and responsibilities.</li><li>
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail; Ability to work with confidential information in a professional manner.</li><li>
Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations required.</li><li>
Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.</li><li>
Must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</li><li>
Minimum age: 18 and Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.</li></ul> 
Certificates/Licenses/Registrations:<ul><li>
PLC, HVAC, Ammonia, Refrigeration, or other specialty certifications preferred but not required.</li><li>
One-year certificate from college or technical school; and three-years related experience and/or training in manufacturing equipment maintenance and repair; or an equivalent combination of continued education and experience.</li><li>
Material Handling Equipment (MHE).</li></ul> 
Physical Demand/Working Conditions:<ul><li>
Must be able to frequently stand, walk, climb, Bend, Twist, Push/Pull reach at, above and below shoulder. Lift/Carry/ Lower: 1-60 lbs continuously, and 60-90 lbs occasionally. Simple and Firm Grasping continuously. Operate equipment, infrequent.</li><li>
Required to work in hot (100&deg;+) and cool (less than 32&deg;), and humid environments throughout the year. Exposed to noise and vibration and chemicals.</li></ul>
