Job Overview Hill Country Arts Academy is seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-kindergarten (Pre-K) Teacher to join our arts-integrated academic program serving PreK-3 and PreK-4 students. Teachers at HCAA are expected to be interactive, hands-on, and fully engaged with children throughout the day- this is not a sit behind a desk role.Responsibilities<ul><li>Implement a multi-sensory art-integrated curriculum that includes music, movement, visual arts, dramatic play and hands-on learning.</li><li>Read aloud to children multiple times per day, using expressive storytelling and using interactive literacy strategies.</li><li>Sing, dance, move and and participate enthusiastically in daily creative activities.</li><li>Foster a warm, structured classroom culture that supports independence, curiosity and social-emotional growth.</li><li>Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons in the early literacy, numeracy, science and thematic exploration.</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment aligned with school expectations.</li><li>Communicate regularly and professionally with families and colleagues.</li><li>Support school-wide arts, events, performances and community activities.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or GED</li><li>First Aid &amp; CPR Certification</li><li>Pass a background check</li><li>Expierience working with preschool aged children</li><li>Strong classroom management rooted in warmth, structure and developmental understanding</li><li>Comfort with singing, movement, storytelling, and creative expression</li><li>Ability to implement hands-on child-centered, arts integrated instruction</li><li>Passion for early childhood education and whole-child development</li><li>Reliable, professional and committed to excellence</li></ul>Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hourWork Location: In person
