<br>
This position will work under the Controller and Senior Accounting Analyst for Gifts to assist in management of the reporting and assurance related to donations and endowments.</div><div>
<br>
 <b>Key Job Responsibilities</b>
</div><div><ul><li>Prepare and post daily and monthly entries to the ledger.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Review general ledger postings for accuracy and completeness.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Review endowment and designated funds in terms of purpose and reporting.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Review gifts recorded for accuracy and completeness.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Review pledges recorded for accuracy and completeness.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assist in recording endowment distribution.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Prepare schedules for the annual audit.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Prepare miscellaneous reports or reconciliations as needed.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assist with internal audits as needed.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain confidentiality of all information.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.</li></ul>

<div><div><b>Required Qualifications</b></div>
<div><b>Education and Experience</b><br>
A Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Accounting plus five years of related office experience is required, or a combination of education and experience sufficient to demonstrate the ability to perform the job.</div>
</div><br>
<div><div><b>Other Skills</b></div>
<div><ul><li>Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong working knowledge and experience with enterprise software programs or accounting tax/software. In addition working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Possess the ability to handle a wide variety of assignments simultaneously and prioritize properly.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Honesty, integrity, discretion, sound judgment, and prudence are a requirement.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Remain accessible and available at the College in time and presence to ensure the proper function of the department.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain an acceptable attendance record, be punctual, and meet deadlines.</li></ul>
