<div>Work Schedule and Shift Premiums
<ul>
<li>Night shift</li>
<li>As a casual / per diem employee, hours vary based on the needs of the department</li>
<li>2nd shift premium is $2.00/hour; 3rd shift premium is $3.05/hour; weekend premium is an additional $2.00/hour</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy</li>
<li>Has attained certification (CRT) or registry (RRT) in Respiratory Therapy and is licensed to provide respiratory care in the state of Michigan, or a Respiratory Technician working towards certification</li>
</ul>
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Performs diagnostic testing which may include EKG&rsquo;s, Holter Monitors, Event monitors, ABG&rsquo;s, PFT&rsquo;s, GXT&rsquo;s and EEG&rsquo;s</li>
<li>Treats patients using oxygen or oxygen mixtures, aerosol medications and chest physiotherapy</li>
<li>Administers medication to patients via NMT/MDI/DPI</li>
<li>Performs pulmonary clearance procedures on patients utilizing PEP, Vest and CPT</li>
<li>Charts response and progress of therapies administered in EMR. Appropriate documentation of education and Care Plan</li>
<li>Educates patients on how to use equipment and medication</li>
<li>Performs set up and monitoring of ventilator and BIPAP patients, including suctioning and airway maintenance</li>
