A Typical Day</b></h2>
</div><div><p>
The E&amp;I Supervisor is responsible for the effective execution of all E&amp;I maintenance and related projects within the plants at HCC. Must facilitate the development of a highly skilled, well trained, committed and spirited E&amp;I team to support the plant operations in their quest for high-quality, low-cost objectives as defined by the mission of Hilmar Cheese Company</p>

Job Responsibilities</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li>Develop and maintain a safe and effective working environment for the E&amp;I Team.</li>
<li>Reviews available planned job package for completeness and correctness. Refines and finalizes labor, parts, and priorities.</li>
<li>Advise planner/scheduler of any changes and logic behind them.</li>
<li>Confirm that an adequate number of E&amp;I techs are assigned to each job and that all jobs are prioritized accordingly.</li>
<li>Assure that all jobs will be done economically, efficiently, and safely.</li>
<li>Ensure, at the start of the shift and throughout the day, the prompt assignment of E&amp;I techs to specific jobs, which are appropriate to their possessed skills and/or to their training needs.</li>
<li>Control time-lost between jobs and at breaks and shift changes.</li>
<li>Make tactical decisions when necessary; staying as close to schedule as possible.</li>
<li>Follow-up with E&amp;I techs on suggestions of ways to improve either planning or job methods.</li>
<li>Coordinates E&amp;I related efforts between shifts to achieve orderly change over.</li>
<li>Devote ample time and attention to formal and on-the-job training to enable technicians to maintain/develop a high level of expertise with both new and existing equipment.</li>
<li>Communicate with Maintenance, Production and Planning to coordinate electronic and instrumentation related items to be completed.</li>
<li>Provide detailed reports on downtime issues to promote proactive responses and practices.</li>
<li>Use SAP to create work orders. Training of Technicians on the use of SAP and generating work requests.</li>
<li>Maintain an &ldquo;On Call&rdquo; status for breakdowns.<br>
</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What You Will Need</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li>High School Diploma and 4 years related experience, OR Associate's degree in related field plus 2 years related experience, OR Bachelor's degree and 1 year of related experience or equivalent.</li>
<li>Able to demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, interpersonal, and organizational skills.</li>
<li>1 year of industrial maintenance experience.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of all types of electrical systems including PLC, Line and Control circuitry.</li>
<li>Ability to lift 60 lbs</li>

</div><div><ul><li>High School Diplomas and 6 years of related experience, OR Associate&rsquo;s degree in related field plus 3 years related experience, OR Bachelor&rsquo;s degree and 2 years related experience or equivalent.</li>
<li>Supervisory experience</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task and have great communication skills, both written and verbal.</li>
<li>3 years of facilities/industrial maintenance experience.</li>
<li>PLC, HMI or DCS certifications</li>
<li>Experience with SAP</li>
</ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Physical Demands &amp; Work Environment</b></h2></div><div><p><br>
This role requires physical exertion, exposure to potentially hazardous conditions or safety hazards. The majority of time is spending walking or standing. There are occasional periods of sedentary work. Is required to wear PPE and have a regular presence in manufacturing and warehouse environments in both temperature controlled and uncontrolled locations. Must frequently interact with people verbally. Specific details of the essential functions of the position is available in the Job Safety Analysis, made available on request.</p>
