Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Maintenance:<ul><li>
Perform general cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting in hallways, stairwells, and public spaces.</li><li>
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.</li><li>
Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and housekeeping carts.</li><li>
Clean and maintain hotel amenities, such as lobby areas, restrooms, and fitness centers.</li><li>
Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report shortages to the supervisor.</li></ul>
Guest Room Support:<ul><li>
Assist housekeepers in preparing guest rooms, including making beds, replenishing linens, and ensuring rooms meet hotel standards.</li><li>
Collect dirty linens and deliver clean ones to the designated laundry area.</li><li>
Handle guest requests promptly and effectively to ensure guest satisfaction.</li><li>
Report maintenance or repair issues in guest rooms to the appropriate department.</li></ul>
Assistance to the Housekeeping Team:<ul><li>
Respond to housekeeping team requests for supplies, linens, and equipment.</li><li>
Assist with the removal of trash, dirty linens, and debris from floors and hallways.</li><li>
Help maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and inform the supervisor of shortages.</li><li>
Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.</li></ul>
Safety and Security:<ul><li>
Follow hotel safety and security procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.</li><li>
Report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate personnel.</li><li>
Follow proper procedures for handling lost and found items.</li></ul> 
Education, Skills and Abilities:<ul><li>
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required, training provided.</li><li>
Communication Skills: Ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.</li><li>
Attention to Details: Strong organizational skills to maintain cleanliness standards.</li><li>
Flexibility: Willingly to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.</li><li>
Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with hotel staff.</li><li>
Cleaning Knowledge: Understanding of cleaning techniques and equipment use is a plus.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
Ability to stand, walk, push, pull and lift for extended periods of time.</li><li>
 Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.</li><li>
Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching.</li><li>
Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor areas as needed.</li></ul>
