Responsibilities:

The Business Transformation Analyst position is primarily focused on supporting Business Transformation (&ldquo;BT&rdquo;) initiatives. This role will assist with process and system documentation, operational support for projects, enhancements, reporting, etc. to align with the Firm's strategic Initiatives while working with Firm's Business Customer and Hines Technology and Data teams (and or external vendor technology). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</div><br>
<div></div><ul><li>
Build an understanding of critical business functions and work with business personnel to understand pain points; places to create efficiencies</li><li>
Work with Business Transformation Manager(s) to determine what tools are best suited to produce solutions.</li><li>
Support the assessment of business processes; identify opportunities for optimization, assist in developing and implementing solutions including user acceptance testing, and document results of discovery and requirements analysis. Support discovery meetings with cross-functional stakeholders to share ideas and findings; assist with documenting lessons learned and creating opportunities for economies of repetition.</li><li>
Develop training material for subject areas as needed for the benefit of other groups, and for newly implemented systems.</li><li>
Provide recommendations to Business Transformation Manager(s) on proper course of action for a given process using discovery findings as support.</li><li>
Support product owners for newly implemented systems or processes. Coordinate with stakeholders and Business Transformation Manager(s) to construct operational plan, scalable operating procedures and establish monitoring strategy for all newly implemented business processes.</li><li>
Assist with change management to properly offboard to appropriate process owners where applicable.</li><li>
Maintain and expand knowledge of current Hines business technology initiatives to map business needs to those solutions.</li><li>
Collaborate with Business Transformation Manager(s) on managing projects, developing project plans, monitoring performance, and using knowledge of other team members to assess BT use cases.</li><li>
Update project plans and alert Business Transformation Manager(s) when significant risks develop and assist in optimizing existing internal project management methodology; tailored for the needs of the project.</li></ul>
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements include:</div><br>
<div></div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited institution is strongly preferred.</li><li>
Two or more years of experience assisting with implementing new business processes or technologies, including software testing and training or relevant real estate for Firm experience.</li><li>
Proficiency in the following technology platforms: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, flow chart software; eagerness to learn new tools to utilize as solutions.</li></ul>

Responsibilities:

As a Analyst within the Business Generation team with Hines, you will assist senior management with all aspects of the real estate investment lifecycle, including market research, financial underwriting, investment memos, debt / equity book creation, design and feasibility analysis of potential acquisition opportunities, and project management work on active developments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</div><div></div><ul><li><div><br>
Perform financial analysis of acquisitions and development opportunities via financial modeling, analysis of cash flows, and application of valuation methods using a combination of Argus and Excel software.</div></li><li><div>
Assist with due diligence processes associated with acquisitions by performing document control, reading lease abstracts, verifying projections, or other duties as assigned.</div></li><li><div>
Perform market research and analyze business proposals to support leasing strategies and decisions, as well as the underwriting of acquisition and development opportunities.</div></li><li><div>
Source, maintain, and update sales and lease comparable databases.</div></li><li><div>
Prepare presentation materials and proposals, with responsibility for written and graphic components.</div></li><li><div>
Participate in the management of development projects including feasibility analysis, entitlement processes, financing, design, contracting, and construction management.</div></li><li><div>
Review leases &amp; property financial statements</div></li><li><div>
Assess feasibility of proposed capital projects</div></li></ul>
Qualifications:

Two or more years related experience in real estate or in a financial analysis role.</li><li><div>
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software with intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.</div></li><li><div>
Prior experience with Argus is a positive.</div></li><li><div>
Analyze real estate and industry trends from a strategic point of view; Analyze and interpret various types of data in order to draw conclusions and solve problems.</div></li><li><div>
Perform numerical and financial calculations and analysis.</div></li><li><div>
Exchange ideas, information, and opinions with others to formulate policies and programs and/or arrive jointly at decisions, conclusions, or solutions.
