We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to support accounting operations across a portfolio of e-commerce clients. This role is responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, accounts payable, payroll support, and assisting with month-end close.
You will work closely with an Accounting Manager while also interacting directly with clients via Slack, email, and occasional calls.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Code daily transactions accurately in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
</li><li>Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
</li><li>Manage accounts payable processes (Bill.com, bill runs)
</li><li>Record payroll entries and accruals
</li><li>Support month-end close activities
</li><li>Assist with financial reporting and client deliverables
</li><li>Communicate with clients via Slack and email
</li><li>Participate in client calls (support role, not leading)</li></ul> 

Requirements 
<ul><li>
2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
</li><li>Hands-on experience with: Accounts Payable (AP), payroll processing and journal entries, account reconciliations
</li><li>Experience supporting month-end close
</li><li>Ability to manage work across multiple clients simultaneously
</li><li>Strong QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience
</li><li>Strong Excel skills (comfortable with formulas, data handling)
</li><li>Proven experience with AP and payroll
</li><li>Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP)
</li><li>Experience working in a multi-client environment
</li><li>Strong communication skills with client-facing experience
</li><li>E-commerce accounting experience preferred (Shopify, Amazon)
</li><li>Deep experience with Shopify/Amazon reconciliations preferred</li><li>
Exposure to inventory accounting (ownership not required)</li></ul>

We are seeking experienced Accounting Manager to support founder-led consumer product brands across e-commerce, retail, and CPG. This role combines hands-on accounting ownership with client relationship management, making it ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, service-based environments.
You will own the full accounting cycle for multiple clients, serve as the primary point of contact, and manage 1&ndash;2 bookkeepers. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate independently with high accuracy.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Own and execute month-end close and financial reporting
</li><li>Manage inventory accounting, including subledger to GL reconciliation, write-offs and accuracy checks
</li><li>Oversee AP/AR processes, bill payments, and payroll entries
</li><li>Prepare and review financial packages (P&amp;L, Balance Sheet, trend analysis)
</li><li>Provide financial insights and recommendations to clients
</li><li>Serve as the primary client contact (calls, presentations, ongoing communication)
</li><li>Manage and mentor 1&ndash;2 bookkeepers
</li>Handle a portfolio of 5&ndash;6 clients per pod

Requirements 
<ul><li>
5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
</li><li>2+ years in a multi-client, outsourced, or consulting environment
</li><li>Proven ability to own accounting end-to-end (Controller-level capability)
</li><li>Experience managing 1&ndash;2 direct reports (bookkeepers)
</li><li>Strong client-facing experience (calls, presentations, communication)
</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting</li><li>
Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online
</li><li>Strong experience in e-commerce accounting
</li><li>Hands-on experience with Shopify and Amazon reconciliations
</li><li>Proven ability to own the full accounting cycle independently
</li><li>Strong understanding of financial statements (P&amp;L, Balance Sheet)
</li><li>Direct ownership of inventory accounting (not just exposure)
</li><li>Excellent client communication skills (video calls, presentations)
</li><li>Experience working with multiple clients simultaneously
</li><li>Advanced Excel skills</li><li>
Experience with NetSuite (nice to have)</li><li>
Familiarity with fintech and accounting tools such as: Bill.com, Ramp, Mercury, Rho, Settle, Wayflyer, Gusto, Deel, JustWorks
</li><li>Experience with inventory systems (any of): CIN7, Fishbowl, Katana, ApparelMagic
</li>Experience with wholesale tools (SPS Commerce is a strong plus)
