Overview As a Junior Attorney, you will be responsible for handling a variety of litigation-related tasks across a personal injury caseload. You will work directly under 2&ndash;3 supervising attorneys, while also maintaining independence over certain files. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated candidate to gain real courtroom and deposition experience in a fast-moving practicesKey Responsibilities:<ul><li>Draft complaints and litigation pleadings</li></ul><ul><li>Handle all phases of discovery</li></ul><ul><li>Draft and argue motions in court</li></ul><ul><li>Take and defend depositions</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with trial preparation</li></ul><ul><li>Communicate with clients and provide regular case updates</li></ul><ul><li>Supervise and guide support staff (as needed)</li></ul><ul><li>Perform other litigation tasks as assigned</li></ul>RequirementsMust-Haves:<ul><li>0&ndash;5 years of attorney experience in personal injury law</li></ul><ul><li>Alternatively, significant prior experience as a personal injury paralegal or legal secretary will be considered</li></ul><ul><li>Must be licensed to practice law in the state of California</li></ul><ul><li>Comfortable working on-site full-time at the firm&rsquo;s Torrance office</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to manage a small caseload independently under the supervision of senior attorneys</li></ul><ul><li>Strong communication, drafting, and organizational skills</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per yearExperience:<ul><li>attorney in personal injury law: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Torrance, CA 90501 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Torrance, CA 90501: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
