About the Role
 We are hiring a Senior Compliance Manager to lead VEU (Victoria Energy Upgrade) compliance and operational checking for a growing Victorian energy efficiency company. You will verify every installation meets ESC standards, check serial numbers and COES documentation, manage RFI responses, coordinate installer performance, and ensure certificates are audit-ready before submission. This role focuses on air conditioning, hot water systems, and commercial lighting upgrades (80% commercial sector). Success means zero ESC penalties, catching compliance issues before certificate creation, and maintaining audit-proof operations as the business scales. This is a full-time remote role working core AEDT business hours.
 
Key Responsibilities
 <ul>
<li>Check 100% of completed installations within 24 hours, verifying serial numbers, COES documents, photographs, and installation quality</li>
<li>Review and approve all certificates before submission to ensure audit compliance</li>
<li>Prepare and submit ESC RFI responses accurately and within required deadlines</li>
<li>Monitor installer compliance performance and provide VEU guidance and training</li>
<li>Maintain accurate data entry across VEU systems and internal compliance tracking</li>
<li>Coordinate with scheduling and operations teams on daily job flow</li>
<li>Produce weekly compliance and operations reports covering job status, RFIs, installer performance, and risk flags</li>
</ul>
Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>Proven experience working within the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) Scheme (essential - must hit the ground running)</li>
<li>Strong hands-on knowledge of VEU compliance for air conditioning, hot water systems, and lighting activities</li>
<li>Experience checking COES documentation, serial number verification, and installation quality control</li>
<li>Familiarity with ESC processes, RFI responses, audits, and regulatory requirements</li>
<li>Meticulous attention to detail with systematic checking and documentation habits</li>
<li>Clear, professional written communication suitable for regulator correspondence</li>
<li>Calm under pressure with ability to manage high job volumes without compromising quality</li>
<li>Available full time, 40 hours per week, working core AEDT business hours</li>
<li>Fast and reliable internet connection; your own laptop or desktop suitable for the role; a quiet working environment; a good quality microphone or headset</li>

You'll be part of an integrated revenue team with direct access to senior leadership and clear progression opportunities within the organisation.
 This role suits people who've consistently closed complex B2B deals and want to join a company serious about scaling their revenue through proven sales excellence.
 
Requirements:

<li>3+ years experience in B2B sales closing or account executive roles</li>
<li>Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets</li>
<li>Comfortable conducting discovery calls and product demonstrations with senior decision-makers</li>
<li>Strong negotiation, proposal creation, and deal closing skills</li>
