 B.S. degree in Food Engineering, Food Science, Chemical Engineering or related field.
 </li>

 Solid knowledge of heat transfer, mass transfer, fluid flow, unit operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good knowledge of food science, food chemistry, ingredient functionality, recipe development.
 </li>
 <li>
 1-2 years of research in food processing and engineering and/or 2+ internship experiences in food processing field.
 </li>
 <li>
 Some knowledge of experimental design and product development.
 </li>
 <li>
 Possess strong work ethic and ability to be a self-starter.
 </li>
 <li>
 Outstanding teamwork and communication skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organization, documentation, and project management skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated and adapts to change well with the personal leadership to influence and positively motivate self and peer.
 </li>
 <li>
 Available to work during regular working hours.

 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead high moisture foods process development projects through research and development on various processing techniques that produce forms like dips, spreads, condiments, sauces, etc
 </li>
 <li>
 Effectively manage projects and progress against key milestone, complete deliverables.
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with engineers to define process designs &amp; optimize process settings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with food scientist to optimize formulations and ingredient selections.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive quality improvements through optimization of processes and thermal process steps.
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilize experimental design and data interpretation tools to make technically sound recommendations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide trial and commercialization support to products at manufacturing facilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Capable of interacting with other employees to independently identify and organize resources for conducting experiments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Capable of applying basic analytical measurements such as moisture, pH, color and viscosity (training will be provided).
 </li>
 <li>
 Influence others through strong communication &amp; interpersonal skills.

 Must have a BA or BS degree in Chemistry or closely related science.

 Minimum of 1-year relevant experience preferred.

 Understanding of analytical technology (HPLC, GC, Dissolution, Automation, or Spectroscopy - UV/Vis, NIR, IR, or AA/AE).
 </li>
 <li>
 Relevant experience may include academic and/or industry experience and is measured based on the quality and quantity of the experience as it relates to the requirements of the position.

 Responsibilities:

 Performs a variety of chemical analyses and GMP review in accordance with cGMP, GLP, DEA and company policies and procedures.

 Primary Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Perform routine testing (dissolution, assay/degradant, content uniformity and ID) of drug products in a cGMP laboratory.
 </li>
 <li>
 Complete all assigned testing in a timely and organized manner in accordance with cGMP, GLP, DEA and company policies and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Enter data into laboratory information system and accurately document all necessary and relevant information in a clear concise manner as per cGMPs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Operate and maintain all analytical instrumentation and equipment as per established procedures; perform basic troubleshooting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate openly within the group to provide and gather information, to optimize the use of resources and to optimize efficiency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Aid other group members as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that equipment and working areas are maintained with good safety and housekeeping practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Re-stock chemicals and consumables used in analysis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Performs other related assignments and duties as required and assigned.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform cleaning and assembly/disassembly on laboratory equipment which may require pulling, pushing, or twisting to remove equipment shields, parts and panels.
 </li>
 <li>
 Equipment and parts could weigh up to 20 pounds.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work a 10 hour per day/4-day work week Monday through Thursday; 40 hours per week with overtime as required.
