 About the role:
 
 We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Manager to support our growing business by managing day-to-day legal operations, contracts, and compliance matters. This role requires a commercially savvy legal professional with a strong grasp of corporate and regulatory law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 Contract Review &amp; Negotiation:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including MSAs, SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and other business agreements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with business and sales teams to facilitate timely contract closures while ensuring legal risk mitigation.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Legal Risk &amp; Advisory:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide clear, business-oriented legal advice on operational matters, regulatory obligations, and internal policy compliance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support internal stakeholders by identifying potential legal risks and suggesting actionable recommendations.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Regulatory Compliance &amp; Monitoring:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes affecting the organization (including in fintech, telecom, data protection, and employment laws).
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in interpreting new regulations and updating internal policies/processes accordingly.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Policy &amp; Documentation Support:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assist in the creation, review, and governance of internal legal and compliance policies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain proper documentation and version control of legal templates, SOPs, and process manuals.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Contract Management:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Maintain the contract repository and ensure timely renewals, obligations tracking, and recordkeeping.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with business stakeholders to ensure contract execution and closure.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Legal Coordination:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Liaise with external counsel for specific matters, such as litigation, IP, or specialized compliance topics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support internal legal audits, investigations, and other compliance initiatives.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Requirements:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Law degree with 8&ndash;10 years of experience in corporate law (preferably with exposure to SaaS, BPO, or data-centric businesses).
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid understanding of Indian contract law, labor law, IT/DPDP compliance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong business acumen and ability to align legal advice with business strategy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience managing external legal counsel.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
 </li>
