Hispanic Counseling Center

The Bilingual Reception Secretary plays a key role in the daily operations of the front desk. This individual will be the first point of contact for clients, staff, and visitors and must provide excellent customer service in both English and Spanish. Responsibilities include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, managing client check-ins, and supporting the administrative team.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Greet clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner</li><li>Answer and route incoming calls in English and Spanish</li><li>Schedule and confirm appointments for clinicians and staff</li><li>Assist clients with completing forms and navigating services</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized reception area</li><li>Enter and update client information in our electronic records system</li><li>Distribute incoming mail and manage outgoing correspondence</li><li>Provide general administrative support to staff as needed</li><li>Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred</li><li>Minimum 1 year of experience in a receptionist or administrative support role</li><li>Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written)</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with sensitivity to cultural and linguistic diversity.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li><li>Experience with EHR systems (preferred but not required)</li><li>Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Commitment to HCC&rsquo;s mission and values</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>Paid time off and holidays</li><li>Opportunities for professional development</li><li>A supportive, mission-driven team environment</li></ul>Work Environment:This position operates in a professional office environment with a focus on collaboration and a shared commitment to serving the community.Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English and Spanish?
