The Public Relations Senior Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining external communication, media relations, public affairs, community engagement, and corporate reputation initiatives that support our Company's business objectives and brand strategy.</div><div></div><div><br>
This role serves as a key communications resource for the organization by managing public relations activities, supporting executive communications, strengthening community partnerships, promoting employer branding initiatives, and ensuring consistent messaging across media, digital platforms, and public-facing communications. The position works closely with leadership, General Affairs, Human Resources, Operations, and external stakeholders to enhance corporate reputation, strengthen community relationships, and support strategic business goals.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Responsibilities</b></div><div><ul><li>
Develop and execute public relations and communications strategies that support corporate objectives, business initiatives, and brand awareness</li><li>
Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, public statements, media advisories, executive communications, and other public-facing materials</li><li>
Manage and maintain the company&rsquo;s presence across digital platforms, social media channels, and communication outlets to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment</li><li>
Coordinate media outreach efforts and maintain relationships with journalists, media organizations, community leaders, government officials, and other external stakeholders</li><li>
Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and public sentiment and provide recommendations to leadership regarding communication opportunities and potential risks</li><li>
Support crisis communication planning and assist with the development and distribution of timely communications during emergency situations or business disruptions</li><li>
Maintain and enforce corporate branding, messaging, and communication standards across all public-facing materials and initiatives</li><li>
Collaborate with General Affairs, Human Resources, Operations, Legal, and Executive Leadership to develop integrated communication strategies</li><li>
Support employer branding, talent acquisition marketing, employee engagement campaigns, and workforce development initiatives through strategic communications</li><li>
Assist in the development and execution of community relations, corporate social responsibility (CSR), public affairs, educational partnerships, and stakeholder engagement programs</li><li>
Coordinate company participation in community events, industry conferences, public forums, workforce development initiatives, and stakeholder meetings</li><li>
Develop communication materials for executive leadership including speeches, presentations, talking points, briefing documents, and event support materials</li><li>
Support website content management, news publications, newsletters, digital communications, and multimedia content initiatives</li><li>
Analyze communication performance metrics and prepare reports regarding media exposure, public engagement, social media performance, and communication effectiveness</li><li>
Support government affairs, legislative engagement, and public policy initiatives as assigned</li><li>

Qualifications</b></div><div><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Political Science, Business Administration, or related field required</li><li>
Master's degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field preferred</li><li>
Professional certifications in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or related disciplines are a plus</li></ul></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Experience</b></div><div><ul><li>
5+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, media relations, public affairs, marketing communications, or related field required</li><li>
Experience supporting executive communications, media engagement, crisis communications, or corporate reputation management preferred</li><li>
Experience in manufacturing, automotive, battery, energy, industrial, startup, joint venture, or multinational business environments preferred</li><li>
Experience supporting community relations, workforce development partnerships, government affairs, or corporate social responsibility initiatives preferred</li><li>

Public Relations Specialist, Senior

<div><div><b>Summary:</b></div><div>
The Fire Safety Technician is responsible for supporting fire prevention, emergency response, hazardous materials response, and fire protection activities within a lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility. This position plays a critical role in protecting employees, property, and operations through fire suppression, emergency preparedness, fire protection system inspections, and response to incidents involving fire, hazardous materials, medical emergencies, and other facility emergencies.</div><div></div><div><br>
This position is designated as an Essential Personnel role and may be required to respond during emergencies, severe weather events, facility incidents, and operational disruptions to support business continuity and life safety operations.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Responsibilities:</b></div><div><ul><li>
Conduct routine fire safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential fire and life safety hazards</li><li>
Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems including fire extinguishers, hydrants, sprinklers, suppression systems, alarms, and gas detection systems</li><li>
Support compliance with OSHA, NFPA, EPA, DOT, and other applicable regulatory requirements</li><li>
Conduct fire risk assessments related to lithium-ion battery manufacturing, storage, and facility operations</li><li>
Support implementation and continuous improvement of emergency response plans and fire safety procedures</li><li>
Assist with hot work permitting activities and ensure compliance with fire watch requirements</li><li>
Respond to fire alarms, hazardous material incidents, medical emergencies, rescue situations, and other facility emergencies</li><li>
Execute fire suppression and emergency response activities utilizing firefighting equipment, extinguishing agents, foam systems, and emergency response tools</li><li>
Support evacuation efforts, rescue operations, and incident stabilization activities during emergencies</li><li>
Coordinate with local fire departments, emergency responders, and mutual aid partners during emergency incidents</li><li>
Conduct fire safety training, emergency response drills, and evacuation exercises for facility personnel</li><li>
Educate employees on fire prevention practices, emergency procedures, and workplace safety requirements</li><li>
Participate in ongoing emergency response training, certifications, and continuous development programs</li><li>
Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, emergency responses, training, and regulatory compliance activities</li><li>
Ensure emergency response equipment, fire protection systems, and response vehicles remain operational and ready for deployment</li><li>
