We are currently recruiting for a Staff UX Designer, 6 month contract.

What you will do in the position:
<ul>
<li>Conducts interviews and working sessions with QSR staff and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Observes and documents current workflows and pain points.</li>
<li>Creates interactive prototypes for feedback and validation.</li>
<li>Facilitates workshops to prioritize features and improvements.</li>
<li>Defines user stories and use cases aligned with contractual milestones.</li>
<li>Conducts interviews and working sessions with QSR staff and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Observes and documents current workflows and pain points.</li>
<li>Creates interactive prototypes for feedback and validation.</li>
<li>Facilitates workshops to prioritize features and improvements.</li>
<li>Collaborates with engineering to understand system architecture and constraints.</li>
<li>Maps existing components and assess integration feasibility.</li>
<li>Documents interoperability requirements and identifies gaps.</li>
<li>Defines navigation flows and screen/hardware relationships.</li>
<li>Develops personas and user scenarios across diverse roles (e.g., order takers, kitchen staff, managers).</li>
<li>Designs wireframes and workflow diagrams focused on clarity and efficiency.</li>
<li>Applies best practices in accessibility, ergonomics, and human-computer interaction.</li>
<li>Identifies UX risks and edge cases with mitigation strategies.</li>
<li>Defines integration points for assembling the system from existing components.</li>
<li>Refines prototypes iteratively based on usability testing and user feedback.</li>
<li>Delivers comprehensive design documentation and user guides.</li>
<li>Creates training materials and conducts knowledge transfer sessions.</li>
<li>Recommends design-specific initiatives and epics to the product team.</li>
</ul>
What you will need to succeed:
<ul>
<li>8+ years of UX design experience, preferably in enterprise or operational systems
</li>
<li>Strong portfolio demonstrating user research, wireframes, and prototypes
</li>
<li>Experience with human centered design and workflow optimization
</li>
<li>Familiarity with QSR environments is a plus
</li>
<li>Proficiency in product and design tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Sketch, Aha!, Jira, etc.)
</li>
<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
</li>
<li>Fluent in English is required
</li>
</ul>The posted pay range, $59.57 - $79.42 per hour, is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision, and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
