<div>Job Summary/Objective of Job
The Atonne Group is seeking a seasoned, proactive HR Generalist to provide interim coverage across two sister companies&mdash;HME and Valley&mdash;during a period of overlapping maternity leaves. This role is critical to maintaining HR continuity, supporting on-site staff, and ensuring leadership confidence in core HR operations.
Following the coverage period, this position will transition into a full-time HR Generalist role at HME to support long-term HR operations and team development.
Timeline &amp; Staffing Context
From late February through May, both HME and Valley will experience significant HR staffing gaps:<ul><li>
HME:<ul><li>
On Leave: HR Lead (end of Feb&rsquo;26)</li><li>
Remaining Staff: HR Coordinator</li></ul></li><li>
Valley:<ul><li>
On Leave: HR Lead (end of Feb&rsquo;26), and HR Coordinator (end of Mar&rsquo;26)</li><li>
Remaining Staff: Payroll Coordinator</li></ul></li></ul> 
Both sites require confident, high-level HR support to bridge leadership bandwidth and operational continuity concerns.
Key Responsibilities
The Interim HR Generalist will serve as a strategic and operational resource across both sites, with responsibilities including:<ul><li>
Acting as a go-to advisor for HR Coordinators and Payroll staff</li><li>
Providing leadership support in policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and decision-making</li><li>
Assisting with and reviewing weekly payroll processes (HME)</li><li>
Managing leaves of absence and related documentation</li><li>
Overseeing performance appraisal cycles and coaching managers through feedback delivery</li><li>
Supporting recruitment efforts at Valley, particularly after the HR Coordinator&rsquo;s departure</li><li>
Ensuring compliance and consistency across HR practices during the coverage period</li><li>
Coordination of employee engagement and wellness initiatives between both companies</li></ul> 
Post-Coverage Transition After the maternity leave coverage concludes, the HR Generalist will remain full-time at HME, continuing to support HR operations (payroll support, benefit administration, LOA preparation, etc),, team development, wellness, and employee engagement.
Ideal Candidate Profile We&rsquo;re looking for a confident, empathetic HR professional who thrives in dynamic environments and can quickly build trust with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have:<ul><li>
5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in multi-site or manufacturing settings</li><li>
Strong knowledge of employment law, payroll processes, and performance management</li><li>
Proven ability to advise leaders and resolve complex employee relations matters</li><li>
Experience with recruitment and onboarding workflows</li><li>
Exceptional communication, discretion, and organizational skills</li></ul>
Physical Demands
This role requires the ability to:<ul><li>
Sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or attending meetings</li><li>
Occasionally lift or carry office materials up to 20 pounds</li><li>
Move between office spaces and manufacturing areas as needed</li><li>
Maintain focus and composure in a fast-paced, multi-site environment</li></ul>
Travel
Some travel may be required between buildings (HME/VTP).
