<div>Primary Duties and Responsibilities
<ul><li>This is an entry level Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern position.
</li><li>Responsibilities include providing service to customers coming to the pharmacy, answering telephones, assembling floor stock medications, refilling Pyxis machines, transportation of medications to and from nursing floors and departments, pre-packing and labeling medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
</li><li>Performs floor stock inspections.
</li><li>Performs timely and accurate delivery of controlled substances to patient care areas.
</li><li>Performs Pyxis override and ED audits.
</li><li>Prepare anesthesia drug trays and operation of the TraySafe system, prepares emergency drug trays and crash cart replenishments independently according to pharmacy law.
</li><li>Performs home medication information collection in ED and on nursing units.
</li><li>Projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct.
</li><li>Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures.
</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div>
 <div>Education and Experience
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent
</li><li>A working skill in general mathematics and familiarity with drug nomenclature and/or medical terminology preferred
</li><li>Fulfills mandatory stroke education requirements per certification agency
</li><li>Intern: Current enrollment in an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy preferred.
</li></ul>License Required

Pharmacy Technician I: Pharmacy

<div>Primary Duties and Responsibilities
<ul><li>The Telemetry Tech/Clerical Coordinator (CC/TT) I is responsible for monitoring electrocardiogram and SPO2 measurements constantly for designated patients and informing the RN of changes.
</li><li>Maintains and checks monitoring equipment daily.
</li><li>Works as a part of the patient care team to maintain organization within the clinical station, answer telephones and patient call lights promptly, assist patients, hospital visitors, and members of the healthcare team.
</li><li>Performs some clerical functions including organizing the clinical station, tracking equipment inventory, as well as monitoring electronic orders.
</li><li>Notifies Charge nurse of new admits and maintains census record.
</li><li>Participates in Swap Shifts to ensure skill competency.
</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div>
 <div>Education and Experience
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.
</li><li>Recent experience as a Telemetry Tech/Clerical Coordinator in an acute healthcare environment preferred.
</li><li>Completion of basic arrhythmia course and successfully passed ECG test required.
</li><li>Completion of a Clerical Coordinator course including medical terminology preferred.

 <div>Education and Experience
<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent
</li><li>5 years of experience in a medical claims processing environment
</li><li>Knowledge of HMO/managed care regulatory guidelines
</li></ul>Preferred:
<ul><li>Experience with Epic Tapestry system
</li><li>3 years experience in claim audits, revenue recovery, or claims system configuration
