We are looking to train people from the ground up which details of flagging traffic /ground hand work for a fiber optic company . We would also like people to learn how to climb poles once they mastered the craft of being a ground hand. Please don&rsquo;t waste our time and your time if you have doubts on doing the duties of this line of work.Flagger Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Flagging traffic with Stop and Slow paddles.</li><li>Preparing truck for job site, set up and tear down of signs and job site.</li></ul>Ground Hand Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Spinning heavy reels of fiber</li><li>Pulling 50lb Lasher with a rope from one pole to the next</li><li>Assisting fiber inside buildings and through underground pipe</li><li>Carrying ladders and other equipment through easements.</li></ul>Qualifications required:<ul><li>Must be able to pass a drug test and background check</li><li>Common sense is a must</li><li>Must be reliable and wanting to work</li><li>Must be a team player and take pride in your work</li><li>Must have a valid Driver's license</li><li>High school diploma preferred but not required</li><li>Must be able to work in all weather conditions and tolerate varying climates of heat, cold, and rain</li><li>Must be able to stand throughout your entire shift, hand and arm movement is required</li><li>Must be at least 18 years old</li><li>Must be available Monday thru Friday, 1st shift</li><li>Must be able to handle a physically demanding job.</li></ul>$18.00/hour to start, with eligibility of a pay increase after 90 days.
