The role of our Production Crew is to execute the daily production schedule in one of the work areas on the floor. These areas include the tofu line, sanitation, packaging, kitchen, warehouse and boxing. In each area and on each shift, Production Crew members follow the instruction of Shift Lead. In some cases Production Crew members will be scheduled to perform a particular job or task, but in other cases the specific work area may change throughout a shift.A pasteurization employee in our tofu plant is responsible for safely heat-treating tofu products to ensure food safety, quality, and shelf life. This includes operating and monitoring pasteurization equipment, verifying that correct temperatures and processing times are consistently met, and maintaining accurate production records. The role also involves cleaning and sanitizing equipment, performing basic checks to keep machines running properly, and strictly following food safety and hygiene standards. In addition, the employee works closely with production and quality teams to ensure all tofu products meet company and regulatory requirements before packaging and distribution.We currently have the following shifts available;1:15 PM to 9:45 PM <ul><li>Follow all Hodo rules regarding workplace safety and personal protective equipment. Employee safety is our number 1 concern</li><li>Follow all Hodo Good Manufacturing Principles policies and procedures. Food safety is our primary production goal.</li><li>Adhere to Hodo Code of Conduct policies and procedures</li><li>Adhere Hodo Attendance &amp; Break time policy</li><li>Report all accidents and near-miss incidents immediately to Shift Lead and/or area supervisor</li><li>Perform all documentation &amp; paperwork accurately and legibly. Record times and temperatures in real time and from real thermometers. No estimations</li><li>Ask questions when you are unsure about how to complete a task correctly and well</li></ul>Working conditions<ul><li>Must be able to work warm and cold temperatures (45&deg;F to 95&deg;F).</li><li>Must be able to work with soy beans and soy products</li><li>Must be available for occasional overtime and weekend work</li></ul>Physical requirements<ul><li>Must be able to stand continually during the work shift.</li><li>Able to bend, stoop squat, and twist on a constant basis</li><li>Must be able to reach overhead</li><li>Lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis</li><li>Push or pull racks, baskets, packaged boxes, trays or bins that weigh up to 250 lbs.</li><li>Able to tolerate varying degrees of cold and hot temperatures (40 to 110 degrees)</li><li>Able to perform repetitive tasks</li></ul>DisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by associates assigned to this job classification.
