Hoffer Plastics is hiring for &quot;Custodian&quot;, &quot;1st shift&quot;.
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the facility. 
Play a key role in producing plastic components that make everyday life possible, from transportation to food packaging to healthcare.<div> 
Starting Pay $17.00 - $18.50</div><div>
 1st Shift Hours are 6:00am &ndash; 2:00pm</div>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Clean/sanitize washrooms, lunchrooms, office areas.</li><li>
Remove snow and salt parking lots and sidewalks.</li><li>
May operate compactor/baler as assigned.</li><li>
Pick up, sort and weigh scrap.</li><li>
Service air filters as needed.</li><li>
Knowledge of tools and painting wanted but not needed. Various projects/repairs around the building.</li><li>
Clean windows and fixtures, strip/wax or buff floors.</li><li>
Perform yard work such as planting and weeding</li><li>
Use equipment such as snow blowers, buffers, scrubbers, or sky jack.</li><li>
All team members shall:<ul><li>
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.</li><li>
Continue to grow job specific knowledge and use tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement.</li><li>
Comply with safety regulations, safety equipment, and maintain clean and orderly work areas</li></ul></li><li>

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The Incumbent will:<ul><li>
always walk/stand the entire shift.</li><li>
sometimes bend at waist, twist/turn, kneel/crouch, push, pull and climb (using ladders).</li><li>
occasionally lift below waist up to 75lbs.</li><li>
regularly lift above waist between 10lbs and 75lbs.</li><li>
seldom lift above shoulders up to 75lbs.</li><li>
frequently perform hand/ wrist /finger movement and squeezing.</li><li>
occasionally use keyboard and foot for pedal controls on forklift.</li><li>
ability to work indoor/outdoor year-round.</li><li>
regular exposure to odors, dust and seasonal weather conditions.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
English skills that allow for reading and comprehending labels/instructions.</li><li>
Experience with power and hand tools is a plus.</li><li>
Work Independently</li></ul>
