 Job Summary
 
 
 
 We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined
 
 Sub-Assembly Technician
 
 to join our manufacturing/shipping team. This role is responsible for the accurate assembly of components and sub-systems used in final product builds. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and metal fabrication processes. A keen awareness of how the final product is expected to perform in the field is essential.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assemble mechanical sub-components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Inspect and test parts to ensure proper function and quality before integration into the final assembly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve issues or discrepancies in assembly processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate records of assembly steps and identify opportunities for process improvement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Safely operate a variety of tools and equipment used in sub-assembly tasks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to all company safety protocols and quality standards.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Required Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of mechanical systems and sub-assembly techniques.
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of metal fabrication practices and tools.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
 </li>
 <li>
 A clear understanding of how the product is expected to perform in the field and how sub-assembly contributes to that performance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong attention to detail and quality.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Preferred Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly or a related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial assembly environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Limited but functional knowledge of diesel engine components and air system operations.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Physical Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Ability to lift, up to [70] lbs. regularly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Standing, bending, and working with hands for extended periods.
 </li>
 </ul>
