<div><div><b>CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:</b><br>
</div><div>Job Duties Include but are not limited to:<br>
</div><ul><li><b>Design</b> mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems that meet customer and project requirements.</li>
<li>Develop cost-effective designs, detailed drawings, and <b>BOMs</b> using <b>SolidWorks PDM</b> and <b>IFS ERP</b>.
</li><li><b>Test and troubleshoot</b> hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to support production and field operations.</li>
<li>Provide <b>technical support</b> to shop floor teams, suppliers, and customers.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain <b>standard work</b>, <b>SOPs</b>, and <b>process documentation</b> to improve consistency and safety.</li>
<li>Support <b>quality control</b> and <b>continuous improvement</b> efforts to enhance reliability and reduce costs.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless design-to-build transitions.</li>
<li>Assist in equipment selection, tooling setup, and cost-optimization initiatives.
</li></ul><div><b>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</b><br>
</div><ul><li>Ability to lift to 25 lbs. without reasonable accommodation.</li>
<li>The ability to travel up to 10% of the time.</li>
Willingness to wear PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots) as required.<br>

</li></ul><div><b>ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:</b><br>
</div><ul><li>Office/cubicle environment.</li>
<li>Shop environment includes welding, overhead cranes, and fork trucks.</li>
<li>Field on-track environment involving all weather conditions.</li>
</ul><div><b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b><br>
</div><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in design/manufacturing engineering with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.</li>
<li>Proficient in SolidWorks, with experience in PDM and ERP systems (IFS preferred).</li>
<li>Strong understanding of hydraulic schematics, pneumatic circuits, and electrical wiring.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and standard work principles.</li>
<li>Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Occasional domestic or international travel may be required.</li>
<li>Knowledge of FMEA, Lean practices, Six Sigma and Value Engineering.</li>
<li>Must maintain a valid Driver&rsquo;s License and Passport and abide by our Corporate Fleet Policy</li>
Ability to complete all pre-employment testing required by Holland, L.P.<br>
