<p>
The Manager in Training (MIT) program is designed to prepare future leaders by providing immersive, cross-functional training across multiple departments at Holliday Rock. This role offers hands-on experience in key operational areas such as safety, mining, ready-mix concrete, dispatch, sales, fleet, procurement, quality control, and community relations. MIT will gain a broad understanding of the business and develop critical leadership, operational, and decision-making skills, positioning them for future management opportunities within the organization.</p>

Essential Functions of the Position</b></h2>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Department Rotations</b></h3>
<ul><li>Participate in structured rotations across various departments, including Safety, Mining, Ready-Mix Concrete, Dispatch, Sales, Fleet, Procurement, Community Relations, and Quality Control.</li><li>Gain a comprehensive understanding of each department&rsquo;s processes and how they interconnect within the business.</li></ul>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Operational &amp; Technical Experience</b></h3>
<ul><li>Conduct hands-on jobsite and laboratory testing as part of the Quality Control rotation.</li><li>Assist in operational tasks related to mining equipment, plant operations, and production cycles.</li><li>Support process improvements and cross-functional projects as needed.</li></ul>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Reporting &amp; Feedback</b></h3>
<ul><li>Write detailed reports and summaries to document observations, key learnings, and improvement opportunities throughout the training program.</li><li>Present findings to managers and mentors at regular checkpoints.</li></ul>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Meeting &amp; Events Participation</b></h3>
<ul><li>Attend internal cross-departmental meetings to gain exposure to leadership discussions and strategic planning.</li><li>Represent Holliday Rock at external events, jobsite visits, or community engagements as assigned.</li></ul>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Innovation &amp; Collaboration</b></h3>
<ul><li>Propose new ideas and solutions to improve department workflow, communication, or productivity.</li><li>Act as a flexible support resource across various teams when needed.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Effective note-taking skills.</li><li>Outstanding organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.</li><li>Self-motivated and proactive personality.</li><li>Mechanically inclined with hands-on tool experience.</li></ul>

Requirements</b></h2>
<ul><li>Minimum 4 years bachelor&rsquo;s degree.</li><li>Proficient in computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Ability to travel (20%); some overnight travel may be required.</li></ul>
