</p><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Job Summary:</b></h5><p>
The Sales Associate reports to the Store Manager and are tasked with performing various duties to serve customers and to keep stores running safely and efficiently to achieve a profitable store location and holding to Hollywood Feeds #1 Policy &ldquo;Do what is right by the customer.&rdquo;</p><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
</b></h5><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Sales Associate Key Responsibilities:</b></h5><ul><li>
Greeting and assisting customers daily according to the Hollywood Feed customer service standards.</li><li>
Demonstrate the ability and knowledge to thoroughly explain the store products to best meet the pet and customer needs.</li><li>
Communicate openly and respectfully with supervisors and coworkers.</li><li>
Effectively operate both independently and as a part of a team.</li><li>
Expected to have open and weekend availability.</li><li>
Employees will be required to unload truck pallets and stock shelves.</li><li>
Expected to learn the Hollywood Feed point-of-sale system to:<ul><li>
Check out Customer Purchases</li><li>
Create Customer Accounts</li><li>
Open and Close Registers</li><li>
Perform other inventory management duties including inventories and cycle counts.</li></ul></li><li>
Attend Hollywood Feed educational classes as scheduled.</li><li>
Expected to keep up with basic weekly store maintenance duties involving cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, dusting, creating displays, putting out new pricing, etc.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>
</p><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Required Skills &amp; Abilities:</b></h5><ul><li>
The love and dedication to animals is an essential requirement for Hollywood Feed&rsquo;s culture.</li><li>
Excellent verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Excellent active listening skills.</li><li>
Excellent sales and customer service skills.</li><li>
Extensive knowledge of the store products.</li><li>
Ability to anticipate customer&rsquo;s needs.</li><li>
Ability to recommend store products to customers.</li><li>
Ability to operate or to quickly learn the store&rsquo;s point-of-sale system.</li><li>
Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and a minimum of 2 years driving experience. (This time frame can include learner&rsquo;s permit).</li></ul><p>
</p><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Education:</b></h5><ul><li>
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.</li></ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
</b></h5><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Physical Requirements:</b></h5><ul><li>
Physically able to lift 40lbs repeatedly up to head height to stock shelves multiples times a day and unload delivery pallets.</li><li>
Physically able to continuously bend, kneel, push, pull, reach, and twist multiples times a day.</li><li>
Physically able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours.</li><li>
Physically able to climb ladders multiple times a day to put up and access products for customers.</li><li>
Will need to meet the requirements of our Safe Driving Policy and be willing to drive our company owned Same Day Delivery Vehicle.</li></ul><p><b>
