WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR</b></h4><p>
We are looking for an experienced XR Developer to join our engineering team on-site in Ismaning and contribute to the development of <b>Hololight Space</b>. The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer with extensive Unity and C# expertise, experience developing production-grade XR applications, and a passion for creating robust and scalable immersive solutions.</p><br>

YOUR MISSION</b></h4><p></p><ul><li>
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality XR applications and core platform features using Unity and C#</li><li>
Develop reusable, maintainable, and extensible software architectures</li><li>
Implement and optimize XR interactions, rendering pipelines, UI systems, and application workflows</li><li>
Integrate external services, enterprise systems, native libraries, and third-party SDKs</li><li>
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks related to CPU, GPU, memory, and networking</li><li>
Debug and troubleshoot complex issues across multiple platforms and XR devices</li><li>
Contribute to code reviews and maintain high engineering standards</li><li>
Collaborate closely with fellow engineers to improve tooling, workflows, and development practices</li><li>
Stay current with advancements in Unity, OpenXR, graphics technologies, and XR hardware platforms</li></ul><p></p><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
YOUR PROFILE</b></h4><p><b>
Required Qualifications:</b></p><br>
<ul><li>
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field</li><li>
3+ years of professional Unity development experience, including experience delivering XR applications in enterprise, industrial, or B2B environments</li><li>
Strong proficiency in C# with a focus on writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code</li><li>
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns</li><li>
Proven experience developing production-ready XR, AR, VR, or MR applications</li><li>
Experience building and maintaining large-scale or technically complex software systems</li><li>
Experience integrating external services, third-party SDKs, native plugins, or backend systems into Unity applications</li><li>
Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills, including CPU, GPU, memory, and application lifecycle analysis</li><li>
Experience working with source control systems such as Git</li><li>
Ability to independently drive technical solutions from concept to deployment</li></ul><b>
Preferred Qualifications:</b><br>
<ul><li>
Experience developing applications for HoloLens 2, Meta Quest, Pico, or other XR platforms</li><li>
Strong knowledge of OpenXR, MRTK, XR Interaction Toolkit, AR Foundation, and related XR frameworks</li><li>
Experience with multiplayer and networking frameworks such as Photon or Unity Netcode</li><li>
Experience integrating managed and native C++ libraries</li><li>
Familiarity with graphics programming concepts, shaders, rendering pipelines, and optimization techniques</li><li>
Experience with asynchronous programming, multithreading, and performance-critical applications</li><li><div>
Experience integrating CAD, PLM</div></li><li>
