 Position Overview
 
 
 We are seeking an experienced
 
 Scrum Master
 
 to enable high‑performing Agile teams and drive the delivery of high‑quality technology products and solutions.
 
 
 You will serve as a
 
 servant-leader and coach
 
 , not a traditional manager&mdash;guiding multiple Scrum teams, advancing Agile maturity, promoting AI and tool enablement, and fostering data‑driven decision-making. You&rsquo;ll help teams self-organize, remove impediments, and continuously improve, while protecting them from distractions and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
 
 
 This is a
 
 hybrid role based in Marlborough, MA
 
 (onsite Tuesday&ndash;Thursday, remote Monday &amp; Friday). Some
 
 domestic and international travel (up to 10%)
 
 may be required, depending on project needs.
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Facilitate Scrum Events
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Plan, organize, and lead all core Scrum ceremonies: Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Remove Impediments
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Proactively identify and help resolve obstacles that slow down the development team, escalating where appropriate.
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Coach &amp; Enable Teams
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Train and mentor teams to build, sustain, and strengthen Agile values and Scrum practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Enable teams with appropriate AI tools and data-driven insights to improve delivery effectiveness and quality.
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Support Product Champion
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Partner with the Product Champion on backlog management and refinement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure priorities, scope, and acceptance criteria are clearly understood by the development team.
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Promote Clear Communication
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Foster transparent, effective communication within the Scrum team and between the team and stakeholders.
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Protect the Team
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Shield the team from external interference and context-switching to maintain focus and maximize velocity.
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Drive Continuous Improvement (Kaizen)
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish goals for Agile maturity and hold yourself and teams accountable for measurable progress.
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Collaborate on Project Delivery
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Work closely with the Senior IT Project Manager to update progress on development team deliverables.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate impacts to critical milestones, including risks and escalations.
 </li>
 </ul>
 </ul>
 Skills &amp; Competencies
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Scrumban, Lean, and/or Scaled Agile (SAFe or similar).
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience managing multiple, complex Agile teams in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Practical understanding of Agile implementation in real-world, hybrid environments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong proficiency with Agile delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to guide, coach, and motivate teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills to mediate between teams, stakeholders, and external parties.
 </li>
 <li>
 Skilled in facilitation, including leading Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Flexible and adaptable in the face of changing priorities and project needs, with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable creating and interpreting Agile metrics and reports (burndown charts, velocity, capacity, etc.) to drive data-informed decisions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to help resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated servant leadership, working to remove obstacles so teams can achieve maximum velocity and quality.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 5+years of experience serving as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Practitioner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Scrum Master Certification required (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM)).
 </li>
 <li>
 Additional certifications are a plus, such as:
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 PMP, Certified Product Owner, Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or similar Agile/PM credentials.
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Experience working in a Hybrid Agile environment preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern delivery practices.

 The annualized base salary range for this role is $94,300 - $147,400 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
