The Training Superintendent oversees the comprehensive training program, ensuring employees are skilled, compliant, and effective in their roles. This role includes managing a team of Training Leads, developing training initiatives, and maintaining compliance standards. The Training Superintendent also partners with the National Training team to roll out company-wide programs.</p>
<p>
The position's schedule has Sundays &amp; Mondays OFF.</p>
<p><b>
Detailed Responsibilities</b></p>
<p><b><i>
Roll out local and national training programs</i></b></p>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with the national training team to implement company-wide training programs across departments.</li>
<li>Ensure local training initiatives align with national standards and objectives.</li>
<li>Provide feedback to the national training team on local training needs and program effectiveness.</li>
<li>Assess and identify gaps in employee knowledge and skills at their local site.</li>
<li>Ensure that training priorities are aligned with operational goals and references KPIs (Efficiency, Error Rate, Turnover, TIR, FSIR, OTFR, etc)</li>
<li>Implement effective training programs to address these gaps.</li>
<li>Communicate solutions to the national team for best practices.</li>
<li>Continuously evaluate training effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.</li>
<li>Manage training and data effectively in the learning management system</li>
</ul>
<p><b><i>Manage New Hire Training Program:</i></b></p>
<ul>
<li>Facilitate training classes for new hire orientation and new hire training program</li>
<li>Maintain new hire training materials and all training conducted; maintain the ability to produce training records as required</li>
<li>Ensure training materials are available, accessible, and accurate with current SOPs and other operational standards</li>
<li>Assess instructional effectiveness and work with local and national CI and Training teams to determine impact, making recommendations as appropriate</li>
<li>Create and implement training aids and resources as needed, including translations</li>
<li>Work with agencies to onboard new temporary employees and ensure all required training is completed</li>
</ul>
<p><b><i>Manage Compliance Training:</i></b></p>
<ul>
<li>Work with HR and department stakeholders to maintain compliance goals for all refresher and onboarding training programsPartner with local and National CI and Training teams to monitor training participation and impact</li>
<li>Regularly communicates site training compliance and progress to stakeholders</li>
<li>Maintain up-to-date records of compliance training completion.</li>
<li>Ensure that safety training is prioritized.</li>
</ul>
<p><b><i>Managing &amp; Developing People:</i></b></p>
<ul>
<li>Manages a team of Training Leads to ensure new hires receive hands-on training</li>
<li>Develop and maintain team training matrix, identifying and treating gaps as necessary</li>
<li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Training Leads to ensure they understand and drive key metrics, policies, and SOPs.</li>
<li>Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.</li>
<li>Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to the training team.</li>
</ul>
<p><b><i>All Other Responsibilities as Assigned:</i></b></p>
<ul>
<li>Adapt to additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by senior management.</li>
<li>Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as required.</li>
<li>When not actively engaged in training superintendent duties, the individual will provide support and work directly on the production floor.</li>
</ul>
<p>This position requires 5% travel.</p>

Qualifications:</b></p>
<p>

<li>1+ years of experience in a training role required</li>
<li>At least 1+ years of successful leadership experience in a fast-paced environment required</li>
<li>Track record of driving KPIs and meeting or exceeding goals</li>
<li>Open availability to work nights and weekend shifts as needed</li>
<li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation</li>
<li>Must have floor presence and be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours</li>
