 Title: Host/Hostess (Front of House Team Member)
 
 
 
 
 Invitation:
 
 To love and serve people by Cultivating Kindness in a way that makes our guests feel welcome on their way in and valued as a guest on their way out. This position is also designed to serve their teammates in a supportive manner to ensure all guests are taken care of at the highest level!
 
 
 
 Specific Functions and Duties:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Communicating with the other host/hostesses, bussers, servers, bartenders, and management team to ensure tables are updated in our seating system and readily available for the next guests.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain our seating system and waitlist.
 </li>
 <li>
 Answering the phone.
 </li>
 <li>
 Providing exceptional service for the guests who order take out from us.
 </li>
 <li>
 Pre-bussing tables in the dining room when all dirty tables are clean.
 </li>
 <li>
 Bussing/cleaning tables inside the restaurant as well as on the patio and helping clean the bar top as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Replace sanitizer in spray bottles and buckets as needed to ensure safety and sanitation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Clean, disinfect, and sanitize work areas before, during and after shift.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with stocking glassware, water bottles, plate ware, silverware, dishes, etc. as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Complete daily restaurant maintenance program.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualification Standards:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 A positive attitude and desire to learn and grow
 </li>
 <li>
 Friendly and upbeat personality.
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves.
 </li>
 <li>
 Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to follow directions exactly as expected.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work fast, safe, efficient, and accurately for periods of up to 10 hours per day.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attention to detail.
 </li>
 <li>
 Mobility required during the entire shift.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to carry bus tubs full of dishes and miscellaneous items from the tables, throughout the entirety of the restaurant.
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent dangers to self and others.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Physical
 
 
 
 There are physical demands that come with this role. To be successful in this role you&rsquo;ll be regularly required to 1) navigate throughout the restaurant and communicate with guests, 2) move and grasp items up to five pounds, 3) occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, 4) bend and stoop. You must have adequate vision to be able to discern cleanliness throughout the restaurant and operate a touchscreen. To perform these essential functions, reasonable accommodations may be made if you have disabilities.
