Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant Caregiver to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities. This paid position is perfect for someone passionate about caregiving and eager to contribute positively to the health and happiness of others.Duties<ul><li>Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support</li><li>Monitor patients&rsquo; vital signs and observe for any changes in health status or behavior</li><li>Administer medications accurately according to care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy</li><li>Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary</li><li>Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to safely move clients with mobility challenges</li><li>Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, observations, and medication administration</li><li>Support clients with dementia or Alzheimer&rsquo;s by implementing memory care strategies and providing emotional reassurance</li><li>Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and follow personalized care plans</li><li>Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and social engagement</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environments</li><li>Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures</li><li>Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia-related conditions</li><li>Ability to accurately monitor vital signs and recognize signs of medical distress</li><li>Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards</li><li>Experience with medication administration and managing care plans</li><li>Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with transfers using Hoyer lifts or similar equipment</li><li>Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams</li><li>Compassionate demeanor combined with a proactive approach to safety and patient comfort</li></ul>Join us in delivering compassionate caregiving that transforms lives!
