Job Summary:
Join our team at Home Matters Caregiving, a caregiver-focused, in-home care agency serving seniors and adults throughout Clemson, Pickens, Oconee, and surrounding Upstate South Carolina communities. We prioritize strong communication, consistent support, and long-term relationships with our caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will play a critical role in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)</li><li>Provide personal care including hygiene, grooming, and mobility assistance</li><li>Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry</li><li>Offer companionship and emotional support</li><li>Monitor client safety and report changes to the care team</li><li>Follow individualized care plans and document daily activities</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>Must be at least 21 years of age</li><li>Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience (home care or facility-based)</li><li>Must reside in South Carolina</li><li>Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance</li><li>First Aid certification required per DHEC (paid training provided if needed)</li><li>Must pass background check and drug screening</li><li>Dependable, punctual, and professional</li><li>Able to meet the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting up to 50 lbs</li></ul>
Compensation &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>Starting pay: $17.00 per hour</li><li>Opportunity for pay increases based on experience, availability, and performance</li><li>Weekly pay</li><li>Mileage reimbursement</li><li>Paid orientation and training</li><li>Holiday pay</li><li>Performance-based raises</li><li>$50 sign-on stipend after first two weeks (35+ hours worked, no no call/no shows)</li></ul>
