Homestead</b> is seeking compassionate and experienced Caregivers to provide care to our residents in <b>Muskegon, MI.</b></p><p></p><p><br>
The Caregiver/MedTech will assist residents with activities of daily living, medication administration, help with laundry and provide companionship and emotional support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, possess excellent communication skills, and foster genuine relationships with seniors.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Responsibilities:
</b></p><ul><li>Assisting clients with activities of daily living, specifically but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, etc.</li><li>
Passing medications.</li><li>
Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.</li><li>
Assist residents with laundry, including bedding.</li><li>
Reporting any changes in the resident's condition to the supervisor.</li><li>
Communicate in a professional manner with families, support services, and coworkers of Homestead.</li><li>
Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Requirements:</b></div><ul><li>
Must be 18 years old.</li><li>
High school diploma or GED.</li><li>
Able to pass a criminal background check.</li><li>
Experience working with the elderly.</li><li>
Able to lift 50 pounds.</li><li><b>
Every other weekend is required.</b></li><li>
Reliable transportation.</li><li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to arrive on time for every shift.</li></ul><p><b>
