Role Summary:
<div>
This Cargo Service Agent role works in a warehouse environment assisting customer with cargo needs such as answering inquires, computing cargo rates, initiate and complete cargo bookings, and security screenings.</div>
Key Duties:
<ul><li>Assist customers with shipping needs (e.g. air cargo transactions, airway bill preparation, rating, acceptance, load planning, filling, tracing, and telephone inquiries) in a warehouse environment.</li><li>
Receive and distribute airfreight, equipment, mail and products within the cargo building.</li><li>
Use a variety of work aides: computers, carts, dollies, pallets, hand trucks and forklifts.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Job-Specific Experience, Education &amp; Skills:

Required</b></div><ul><li>
A minimum of 1 year of customer service or community service experience.</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Must have a valid unexpired driver&rsquo;s license issued by a US state, a US territory or the District of Columbia.</li><li>
Ability to learn and operate a computerized cargo system.</li><li>
Typing speed of at least 25 WPM.</li><li>
Ability to consistently lift 70 lbs.</li><li>
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.</li><li>
Must be able to bend, squat, stoop, reach and grasp.</li><li>
Ability to perform basic mathematics.</li><li>
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.</li><li>
Ability to participate in paid training that may require overnight travel.</li><li>
Ability to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification.</li><li>
Ability to obtain airport security clearance.</li><li>
Ability to communicate in English.</li><li>
High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Minimum age of 18.</li><li>
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.</li></ul>
