<div>This position maintains medical records and performs clerical duties in the department.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
<ul>
<li>Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of medical terminology and medical records, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, coursework and/or degree in Health Information Management.</li>
<li>Working experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook as well as data entry and keyboarding experience. 
</li>
<li>Working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding, preferred.</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong telephone and customer service skills.</li>
<li>Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of productivity with minimal supervision.</li>
<li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.</li>
<li>Demonstrates ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.</li>
<li>Understands and is committed to the hospice philosophy.</li></ul>
