Position Summary</b><br>
Hospital to Home LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to support the company&rsquo;s financial operations, with a strong focus on accounts payable functions. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing vendor payments, supporting accounts receivable activities, and assisting with general accounting operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while supporting the organization&rsquo;s financial processes.<br>
Key Responsibilities<br>
<ul><li>Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the general ledger.</li><li>Manage and process accounts payable transactions, including reviewing, coding, and entering vendor invoices.</li><li>Assist with accounts receivable processing and tracking.</li><li>Post payments and transactions related to insurance billing.</li><li>Maintain vendor records and ensure timely and accurate payments.</li><li>Assist with account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.</li><li>Support month-end close activities and financial reporting processes.</li><li>Assist with internal audits and financial reviews as required.</li><li>Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation.</li><li>Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks assigned by leadership.</li></ul></div><div><b><br>

<ul><li>2&ndash;5 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, or financial reporting.</li><li>Understanding of general ledger processes and accounting principles.</li><li>Knowledge of GAAP compliance and accounting best practices.</li><li>Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.</li><li>Ability to exercise discretion, tact, and professionalism in all situations.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or a closely related field.</li></ul></div></div>

</p><p><b>Role Description</b></p><p>
</p><p>This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant, based in Richmond, VA. The Accountant will serve on a team and contribute to daily accounting tasks such analyzing data, making journal entries, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payables, reconciling accounts, filing monthly and quarterly tax reports, ensuring compliance with federal and state standards and regulations, and other taska as assigned. The individual will work closely with other departments to support financial operations and identify opportunities for process improvement.</p><p>

</p><ul><li>Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget management</li><li>
Experience with financial analysis and compliance with financial regulations</li><li>
Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant tools</li><li>
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively</li><li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with various departments</li><li>
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus)</li><li>
