This role focuses on CloudBlue, a HostPapa business that powers cloud commerce for many of the world&rsquo;s largest service providers, including major Telcos, distributors, and MSPs. CloudBlue enables partners to monetize and manage cloud services and subscriptions at scale, combining the agility of a high-growth business with the backing of a global organization.</h3>
As a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect, you will act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the pre-sales and onboarding lifecycle, working closely with customers, sales, and delivery teams to design cloud solutions that meet business and technical requirements. You&rsquo;ll translate customer needs into scalable architectures, guide solution design decisions, and help drive successful adoption of our cloud platforms.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
What you&rsquo;ll do</h3><ul><li>
Partner with Sales and Account teams during pre-sales to understand customer goals, challenges, and technical environments</li><li>
Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture discussions with customers</li><li>
Present solution designs, trade-offs, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li><li>
Build and deliver compelling product demonstrations and manage Proof of Concepts (PoC) from scope definition to final validation during the sales cycle</li><li>
Own the technical response for RFIs/RFPs and navigate complex security/compliance reviews</li><li>
Lead the transition from Sales to Implementation, ensuring the post-sales team has a deep understanding of the customer&rsquo;s technical environment</li><li>
Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with platform capabilities</li><li>
Develop and maintain reference architectures, solution blueprints, and best-practice documentation</li><li>
Serve as the technical expert for the Onboarding team. You will step in to resolve complex architectural blockers or integration &quot;edge cases&quot; that arise during deployment</li><li>
Stay current on cloud trends and emerging technologies to inform customer recommendations</li><li>
Channel field insights back to Product and Engineering to influence the product roadmap</li><li>
Support other tasks or projects as assigned to meet team and business needs</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
About you</h3><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)</li><li>
Experience in Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting roles within the SaaS/Cloud space</li><li>
Strong understanding of cloud platforms, distributed systems, and modern application architectures</li><li>
Solid understanding of Identity and cloud security frameworks</li><li>
Comfortable leading customer-facing technical conversations and presentations</li><li>
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-oriented solutions</li><li>
Experience evaluating requirements and recommending architectural approaches rather than implementing every component</li><li>
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams</li><li>
Strong communication skills with both technical and executive audiences</li><li>
Experience using integration methodologies (REST API, JSON, scripting) is desirable</li></ul>
