This position will assist in handling the bookkeeping/accounting duties in our Corporate Office and support the accounting department of all Hotels managed by Vista Property Management.Position Overview<ul><li>Prepare and post journal entries to generate financial statements</li><li>Reconcile Bank Statements with Cash Accounts.</li><li>Review and Reconcile Balance Sheet Accounts.</li><li>Process Accounts Payable Invoices for timely payment.</li><li>Assist in preparing Cash Management reports.</li><li>Review financial statements and assist with audits and reconciliations.</li><li>Assist the Controller and Assistant Controller as needed on special projects.</li></ul>Position RequirementsEducation/ExperienceMinimum Required:<ul><li>Must be eligible to work in the United States of America.</li><li>Prior accounting experience in hotels preferred.</li><li>Data plus, M3 and QuickBooks accounting software experience extremely helpful.</li><li>Minimum of five years accounting / bookkeeping experience.</li><li>Previous experience with GL, AP, AR, Sales &amp; Occupancy Tax filing, Bank Reconciliations, P&amp;L &amp; B/S preparation.</li><li>Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.</li><li>Must be detail-oriented, organized, with good verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to multi-task various projects and meet deadlines.</li><li>Demonstrate sound knowledge of accounting concepts.</li><li>Experience with recording and reconciling intercompany transactions.</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Has a &ldquo;willing-to-learn- do-whatever-it-takes&rdquo; attitude.</li></ul>Please submit a cover letter, resume and three professional references.Vista Property Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer that recruits and hires qualified candidates without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability or veteran status.www.vistahospitality.comJob Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Please list 3 professional references</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Accounting/Bookkeeping: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
