Essential Job Functions:
<ul>
<li>Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness.</li>
<li>Receive, inspect and record shipment. Check each item on the invoice against the applicable hotel document, weighing, counting, verifying prices on each item and checking these against specifications to verify accuracy of delivery. Inspect contents to ensure there are no damages.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control daily, weekly, monthly quarterly and year end.</li>
<li>Fill requisitions to authorized outlets so all stock will be complete at each outlet and advise supervisor of items that are low or out of stock to reorder.</li>
<li>Notify the department responsible for ordering merchandise when shipment arrives or if the shipment fails to arrive so that any discrepancies can be resolved. Sign, date, and time stamp all invoices on the respective receiving sheet, ensuring items are correctly identified. Ensure we receive the correct packages and stock them appropriately.</li>
<li>Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified. Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipment or receiving replacements.</li>
</ul>
Compensation Range: $24-$26/hour

Specific Job Knowledge and Skills:

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of the appropriate stock levels for any given item kept in inventory and the amount of time the item will be fresh. Understanding of health and food safety regulations.</li>
<li>Basic mathematical skills necessary to track and receive specific volumes of deliveries.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data.</li>
<li>
Ability to read, write and speak the English language sufficient to complete forms and inventories, read billings and invoices, and communicate with co-workers and purveyors.
</li>
<li>Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
</li>
</ul>Other Expectations:
<ul>
<li>Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.</li>
<li>Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. This includes nights, weekends and/or holidays.</li>
<li>All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).</li>
<li>Team Members are always required to take on the responsibility and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as determined by position and duties.</li>
<li>Complies with health and safety rules, regulations and procedures to maintain a safe environment.</li></ul></div>
