<div>Marketing Content &amp; Graphic Design Specialist
Full Time | Northern Michigan Based (within one hour of Petoskey, MI) | Hospitality Collection
We are seeking a Marketing Content &amp; Graphic Design Specialist to support the marketing efforts of a growing hospitality collection of hotels and restaurants across Northern Michigan.
This role focuses on content creation and marketing execution. The position requires living within one hour of Petoskey, Michigan, as weekly travel to our Northern Michigan properties is required to capture photography, video, and marketing content.
You will capture photography and video for social media and marketing needs, assist with graphic design projects, and support day-to-day marketing needs across multiple properties.
Strategic oversight for digital marketing and social media is managed through external agencies and the Chief Marketing Officer. This role works closely with those partners to provide content, creative assets, and property marketing support.
Responsibilities
Content Creation
<ul><li>Capture high quality photo and video content for hotels, restaurants, events, and guest experiences</li>
<li>Maintain a library of organized visual assets for marketing use</li>
<li>Travel to properties to capture seasonal and promotional content</li>
</ul>
Creative Production
<ul><li>Design graphics for social media, email marketing, website updates, and light advertising</li>
<li>Assist with print projects including menus, flyers, signage, promotional materials, Human Resources and guest collateral</li>
<li>Prepare creative assets as requested by property management company, marketing agencies and property managers</li>
</ul>
Marketing Support
<ul><li>Assist with email marketing campaigns and promotional announcements</li>
<li>Support property level marketing initiatives and seasonal campaigns</li>
<li>Help maintain visual brand consistency across marketing materials</li>
</ul>
Collaboration
<ul><li>Work with external marketing agencies responsible for branding, storytelling, and digital marketing strategy</li>
<li>Coordinate with property managers to identify content opportunities</li>
<li>Provide assets and updates to the Chief Marketing Officer and agency partners</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul><li>Strong photography and basic video capture skills</li>
<li>Graphic design experience using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms</li>
<li>Understanding of social media content needs and visual storytelling</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines</li>
<li>Comfortable visiting properties and working in hospitality environments</li>
<li>Hospitality, tourism, or lifestyle brand experience preferred</li>
</ul>
Compensation &amp; Work Structure
<ul><li>Salary range: $60,000 to $65,000 depending on experience</li>
<li>Petoskey office location with regular property visits</li>
