Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Part-Time Banquet Server to join our team! This individual will assist with the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events, including breakfasts, luncheons, receptions, and dinners.

Availability Requirements
Applicants must be available to work one or both of the following shift windows based on event needs:
AM Shift (Breakfast/Lunch Events)<ul><li>
Availability window: 5:00 AM &ndash; 3:00 PM</li></ul>
PM Shift (Reception/Dinner Events)<ul><li>
Availability window: 3:00 PM &ndash; 12:00 AM</li></ul>
Please note: These availability windows do not guarantee scheduling for the full time frame. Actual shift start and end times will vary based on event needs and may be shorter than the full availability window.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Set up banquet rooms for events, including draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing beverages, and placing centerpieces</li><li>
Set up AM or PM break stations, including coffee, tea, snacks, and beverages</li><li>
Assist with event room setup according to meal period and table needs</li><li>
Perform food and beverage preparation duties, including brewing coffee, preparing condiments, and stocking workstations</li><li>
Pick up food from service areas, carry trays, serve food, and clear tables efficiently and professionally</li><li>
Serve food and beverages to guests while monitoring quality and presentation</li><li>
Remove dishes, glassware, silverware, and other items from tables and deliver them to the kitchen</li><li>
Clean and sanitize tables, counters, and seating areas after guests are finished</li><li>
Break down banquet rooms following events, including bussing tables, removing linens and centerpieces, vacuuming, and organizing storage areas</li><li>
Clean back-of-house hallways and assist with storeroom organization</li><li>
Explain menu items, preparation methods, and ingredients when requested</li><li>
Accommodate special requests and dietary needs with care and attention</li><li>
Conduct final quality checks on food and beverage items prior to service</li><li>
Monitor assigned tables to ensure guest satisfaction and provide additional service as needed</li><li>
Address guest concerns promptly and with a high level of care</li><li>
Offer warm and sincere welcomes and farewells and provide general property information</li><li>
Interact professionally with team members and assist other departments as needed</li><li>
Maintain constant awareness of safety concerns, including spills, broken glass, equipment hazards, or suspicious activity</li></ul></div>
What are we looking for?<div>
Qualifications<ul><li>
2&ndash;4 years of food service experience, preferably in banquet service.</li><li>
Experience in a 4-star or 5-star venue preferred.</li><li>
Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits</li><li>

We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Full-Time Banquet Captain to lead and execute exceptional banquet and special event service. The Banquet Captain plays a critical leadership role on the event floor, ensuring seamless service execution, team coordination, and an outstanding guest experience from setup through breakdown.

Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Lead, supervise, and support banquet servers during events to ensure service standards are met</li><li>
Serve as the primary on-site contact for assigned events, working closely with Banquet Managers and Event Services</li><li>
Conduct pre-shift meetings to review event details, service timing, menu items, and special requests</li><li>
Oversee banquet room setup and breakdown according to event orders and service standards</li><li>
Ensure proper table settings, d&eacute;cor placement, and room readiness prior to guest arrival</li><li>
Coordinate food and beverage service, including synchronized service when required</li><li>
Perform final quality checks on food and beverage items before service</li><li>
Monitor service flow, guest satisfaction, and timing throughout the event</li><li>
Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating as needed</li><li>
Assist with food and beverage service as necessary during events</li><li>
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards</li><li>
Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet spaces and service areas</li><li>
Communicate effectively with culinary, stewarding, and event staff</li><li>
Maintain awareness of safety concerns and report hazards or incidents immediately</li><li>
